There are only a handful of bows available in Destiny 2. The weapon type was very popular when they were first added to the game, but they've gone down a bit since then. While they might not be the most popular weapon, there are still a few bows in the game that are worth collecting by any player who prefers them. Here is a list of the best arcs in Fate 2.
Silence
This is arguably the best arc in the game. It is earned by completing the quest for Gambit's pinnacle, Hush Little Baby. One of the reasons it's so popular and so powerful is that it combines high damage with super fast draw time. The best part about this bow is the advantages of the archer's opening shot and gambit. Archer's Gambit can dramatically reduce draw time. If you manage to get a precision shot using the hip shot, you can draw faster for 8 seconds after. This allows you to get some extra shots at your targets. The firing aperture increases the accuracy and range of your first shot when entering combat.
Breath of the Leviathan
Breath of the Leviathan is obtained through the exotic quest Make Bows, Not War. This bow is very unique as it uses heavy ammo instead of standard or special ammo. It deals a lot of damage per hit. This is the best bow to use against particularly difficult bosses. It's also a good bow to use in PvP if you prefer this type of weapon in the crucible. A good shot from this bow will be fatal to almost any player without the best possible protection or some sort of buff. The Leviathan's Sight perk also adds recoil and splash damage that can compensate for near crashes. The downside to this arc is that the massive damage comes with one of the longest draw times in the game.
No turning back
This bow is a reward for completing the "Despised" mission in the Forsaken Campaign. It's a good all-around bow for PvP and PvE. The biggest downside to this bow is that it uses the location of the primary weapon. Unless you're really comfortable with using a bow, you're probably going to need a good secondary weapon to fall back on. This bow works best when used with a good rifle or a good hand cannon.
Trinity ghoul
Trinity Ghoul can only be found by farming Exotic Engrams or purchasing them from Xur if he has them in his inventory. This weapon is perfect for PvE and Gambit or for PvP if you play up close. The bow can mow large groups of enemies quite easily due to its elemental abilities. With Split Electron, arrows split into multiple projectiles when fired. Lightning Rod causes a lightning chain effect on the next hit after a precision kill. This makes the bow especially deadly when using hip fire against large groups of enemies. Projectile spread can be tightened by aiming the sights and fully drawing the bow.
Subtle calamity
This bow is dropped at random like a legendary engram. Subtle Calamity is perfect for the Gambit Crucible. He has access to many perks designed for PvP such as the moving target, which increases the target's movement speed and acquisition when aiming, and the exploding head which detonates arrows after a short period of time. . If you're good enough with precision shots, this bow can also have access to the archer's tempo, reducing the draw time after each. This weapon can put any opponent you encounter to work. The biggest downside is that it has a longer draw time than some of the other bows on this list.
Stag point
Point of the Stag can only be obtained through Crucible Iron Banner events. This is a nice bow to have in a pinch as this is a vorpal weapon. All vorpal weapons deal bonus damage to bosses and guardians while their super is active. When used correctly, this bow can save your team in PvP or make particularly boring strikes a bit easier. This bow also has access to the Archer's Tempo trait which reduces the draw time after each precision kill. Between Archer's tempo and being a vorpal weapon, this bow can be very useful in pulling a team out of potential defeat in the Crucible.
