Best Team in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

For now, it seems like the main endgame of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is drawing endless amounts of characters to see which ones match up best in its PvP mode. Still a fairly young game, fans are still trying to figure out the most beneficial stats. Well, we believe the Pierce Rate, a stat that ignores a percentage of an opponent's overall defense, is the key to building the best team there is. This is mainly due to two game changes: Lillia's passive ability and Escanor's absurd Pierce Rating.

Lillia (blue variant - SSR)

Think of Lillia as the base of the team here, as her passive ability adds 50% of her Pierce rate to all allies on the field. Since this card's base form has a 50% pierce rate, other characters then get an additional 25% at their own rate. It's also worth noting that her rank 1 Eroica card heals the HP of all her allies for 200% of her attack. This can be doubled once you hit the max at Rank 3.

Escanor (red variant - SSR)

If Lillia is the foundation, then Escanor is what stands because of her. As mentioned, his Pierce rate is what makes them the best team available right now, and the card's starting rate is 80%. Of course, you can improve that, but on the first use, 80% of an opponent's defensive stat is ignored. As you can imagine, with Lillia's passive app, one-shot kills are virtually guaranteed.

On top of that, his Amplifier card deals damage up to 450% of his attack on an enemy. Since he's the team's regular MVP, keeping his HP high enough is an obvious concern. However, it does include a passive ability that increases it by 50% for the first three turns - longer than it takes to complete the match.

Demon Meliodas (blue variant - SSR)

If you are looking to get this team, this should be the first one you are looking for. Demon Meliodas is simply one of the most powerful cards, in terms of offense, and Lillia certainly backs him up even more. Rank 1 Enchanted Hellblaze move deals Puncture damage equal to 100% attack, which can stack with Lillia's passive.

The character also starts off with a respectable 40% pierce rate and 550 attack rate. So even without the other two, Melidonas can carry the weight of his team.

Alternate: King (red variant - SSR)

So the release of the Red King variant was disappointing to say the least, but that doesn't mean it can't prove useful outside of the battlefield. Even though King isn't used in the first three slots, using him as a replacement still allows players to take advantage of the Wrath passive ability from his Holy Treasure. So not only will your Breakthrough Rate be at historic levels, but this passive will also reduce the Breakthrough Rates of all of your opponents.

Honorable mention: Valenti (green variant - SSR)

While that's an honorable mention, you highly want to consider Valenti if King's Passive isn't doing you any good. Yes, she also has the same passive, but it can only be used while in combat. However, it deserves a few tricks during a fight. His 2nd law of motion move deals damage for 300% of his attack stat. With a meager 20% Pierce rating, if added, we don't recommend starting her until she has fully evolved.
