Can you tame striders in Minecraft?

The Striders are a creature that you can find the Nether in your Minecraft world. These passive spawns roam the dark, bouncy, lava-proof terrain, and with a saddle you can roam them around the Nether. While you can ride the creature, are you able to tame them like other creatures? Not exactly. You can't tame a stride like you would a wolf, fox, cat, or other animals. But there is a way to control them to keep up with you.

How you control them using their favorite type of food, the Warped Mushroom. You can find the Warped Mushroom in the Warped Forest Biome, which looks like a strange blue area in the Nether. The deformed mushroom looks like a blue mushroom with orange dots on it. Collect these items then craft them with a fishing rod to create a warped mushroom on a stick. By using this article, you can attract and guide walkers to follow you. By overlapping them, you use it just like you would the carrot on a pig stick.

However, if the striders are passive, it does not tame them. It only encourages them to follow your direction while leading them, and you can draw them around. You can't tame them like other Minecraft animals.

Striders are pretty easy to find, and if you had to create a pen in the Nether, you can lock them in an area and use them however you want, especially when you keep one in one place with a saddle. You can try raising two spiders by feeding them warped mushrooms, and the parents have a five minute cooldown until they can mate. Babies take 20 minutes to grow unless you use deformed mushrooms to speed up the process.
