Everything we know about Minecraft Dungeon's Jungle Awakens DLC

Mojang a
just released Minecraft Dungeons and they are already starting to tease
what's on the way. The base game has arrived with just nine levels for players to
go through several times, so it's nice to see more is going on so quickly. Here
is all we know so far about the first DLC pack, Jungle Awakens.

Release date

First of all, the Jungle Awakens DLC release window is slated for July 2020. There is no exact release date for the DLC yet, but we do know that it will arrive this summer and are waiting for the second DLC pack. , named Creeping Winter, which will be available in September, although this speculation stems from a Nintendo Switch eShop leak. The name of the second pack is confirmed, not the output window. Microsoft is hosting a digital event in July to discuss what the Xbox Game Studio teams are working on, which could potentially be the time when we learn how to wait for DLC release dates.

If you own the Hero Edition of Minecraft Dungeons, you will have instant access to both DLCs when they go live. The Jungle Zombie is near the bottom and appears to be shrouded in vines. Could that potentially give him a slight increase in armor? The big massive crowd could be the Poison Quill Vine. It could be a mini-boss like the Redstone Golem in the current iteration of the game. Given its name, it will likely fire poison projectiles. If that's true, that leaves the yellow creature as Leapleaf. Other than the hammer it carries, we don't see any real clue as to what the creature is doing, but the falling lights could mean something.


While not explicitly revealed in the announcement, you should expect new weapons and armor to accompany the DLC if they aren't already available through the free content coming to the game over the next few months. also confirmed in the blog.
