Doom Eternal is a love letter to classic first-person shooters in many ways, but one of the most significant tributes to the good old days of the game is the unabashed inclusion of several cheat codes. These cheat codes do everything you want them to do, from unlocking weapons and items to improving health and armor. You can't just enter a code and get the corresponding cheat. These cheats must be won. Cheat codes are just one of the many types of collectibles in Doom Eternal, and you'll encounter plenty of different cheaters as you rip and tear your way through the demonic hordes.
Once you find a cheat code, you can activate it on the mission selection screen in the Fortress of Doom. It should be noted that you can only activate cheats for a mission that you have already completed once, so you cannot use them to get through a new mission. Other than that, however, there are no other restrictions. You can have as many active cheats as you want, letting you shave the hell out of your way.

- Activate all cheats - Enable or disable all cheat codes
- Infinite Extra Lives - Gives infinite extra lives
- IDDQD - Grants active sentry armor for the entire mission
- Instant shift mode - Bullets, projectiles, belching flame and dash knock down all enemies with one hit except unique bosses
- All runes - Unlock all runes
- IDKFA - All weapons are unlocked and mastered and all equipment is unlocked
- Fashion famine - Enemies no longer lose armor or health
- Infinite ammo - Gives infinite ammo
- Powerup Mode: Assaut - An infinite assault bonus is granted for the entire mission
- Power On Mode: Berserk - An Infinite Berserk bonus is granted for the entire mission
- Power Up Mode: Overdrive - An Infinite Overdrive bonus is granted for the entire mission
- Silver bullet mode - Staggered enemies die in a shot from projectiles, explosions, flame rotations or clothes
- Fully upgraded costume - Unlocks all Praetor Suit upgrades
- Girl fashion - Enemies burst into confetti on whole body gib, lower body gib, upper body gib, loss of limbs and fatal headshots
- Fashion QuakeCon - An invisible audience cheers you on based on your in-game performance
