Warcraft II: The Dark Saga it's a real time strategy video game (RTS) developed by Blizzard Entertainment in 1995 for Sony PlayStation, PC, Mac and Sega Saturn. This is the sequel to the popular Warcraft video game: Orcs & Humans.
It's the following year, 
1996, the Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal expansion, and in 1999 the Warcraft II Battle.net Edition was released, which allows you to play multiplayer using Blizzard's free online gaming service, Battle.net.
The game takes place in thefantasy universe of the Eastern Kingdoms, with some scenarios characterized by grassy surfaces, others more barren and others still covered with snow. As in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, also in Warcraft II: The Dark Saga there are two opposing factions: the Alliance, a coalition made up of humans, high elves, gnomes and dwarves, and the Horde, made up of evil orcs, trolls , ogres and goblins. For each of the two factions it is a campaign available. The features that made the first Warcraft famous have all been maintained and improved in many ways, as they can now also be used air and naval units.
