How to add friends for cross play in Spellbreak

Spellbreak crashed into the battle royale scene with no guns and all magic, but one of the most exciting things about the release is that the game is cross play and cross progression right out of the way. bag.

For those who have played the beta, the Friends List was previously built into your Playstation or Epic Games Friends List. This is no longer the case.

When you open Spellbreak for the first time, you will be asked to create a new account whether you have played the beta or not. With this will come a Spellbreak specific account which is linked to your email. You can use this email to log into the game on any platform, and this account will have its own unique identifier linked to it.

It will be based on your display name on the platform you are creating the account on and does not appear to be editable at this time. Make sure your display name doesn't contain any special characters (spaces are accepted) and that you would like it to be on your account.

The format is similar to that of discord or Overwatch: PlayerName # 1234. This identifier can be used to send a friend request to another player directly to their Spellbreak account.

So whether you're playing on PC, Xbox, PS4, or even on the go with Nintendo Switch, you can invite your friends to play with your team on any other major platform anytime you want. Spellbreak is currently not available for iOS or Android.
