How to enable / disable emergency alerts

With all the earthquakes e storms registered in Italy, it is good to have a notice with you all the time. Fortunately, our phones leave the factory with a function called "Emergency communications”Which can put us on notice of the arrival of possible dangers, including those of terrorism.

What are emergency communications? This is a function embedded within iPhone and a good part of mobile phones equipped withAndroid. These communications serve a very specific purpose, which is to warn us if there are earthquakes or other types of climatic dangers coming. Specifically, this function is delegated to earthquakes. When a shock is detected by the source of information assigned to the mobile phone (in the case of those in Italy, the national center) your Smartphone will start ringing, immediately alerting you of the incoming danger.

Among the functions combined with emergency communications, we can enable a function that allows us to send a message of danger (together with a photo from both cameras) and one that reduces the Smartphone to a simple mobile phone, so as to reduce the consumption of energy at the absolute minimum.

The emergency communications available may vary between various editions of Android and iPhone, but the basis all starts from there.
So let's see how we can enable (and disable) them on both mobile phones.

How can I enable (and disable) emergency communications on the iPhone?

Go to settings and then look for notifications. In that part of the settings you will find the section dedicated to emergency communications. There will most likely be only a couple of available options (AMBER Alert and Emergency Alert)

How can I enable (and disable) emergency communications on Android?

The section dedicated to emergency communications can be almost anywhere depending on the Android edition. Remember that you can search for any function in the settings using the magnifying glass at the top right. You can find emergency communications in the networks or in the "system" section.

Unlike the iPhone, Android's emergency communications are much broader in the choices available, even if it depends on the edition.
