Music as an iPhone ringtone

If you are looking for different melodies from the predefined ones proposed by Apple within its iOS devices, then surely you will be interested in our new guide today in which we will explain how to set up music as iPhone ringtone using different solutions.

iTunes Store

The first method we recommend you use is iTunes Store, the digital shop of Apple. Inside you can find many ringtones by simply accessing the section Ringtones.

Let's see the steps to follow:

  • From the main screen of iOS on your iPhone, locate the icon of iTunes Store and press on it to start it.
  • In the next step, you can access the section Ringtones by first pressing on Genres top left and then up Ringtones from the list that appears. If you want, you can also choose your favorite genre from those present (eg. Alternative, Music for children, classical, Electronics and so on).
  • Once you have found your favorite ringtone, press thecover image to listen to a streaming preview. Alternatively, tap on the title to know the reviews posted by other users, to see the related ringtones or for share it using an external app.
  • If you are satisfied with the selected melody, press on button containing the price (Eg. 0,99€) and choose between Use for the default ringtone, Use for default messages o Assign to a contact. By choosing the first option, you can set the ringtone as default, the second allows you to use it as a notification sound while the third option allows you to set it for a single contact.
  • After choosing the desired option, authorize the payment by scanning your fingerprint via touch ID or the face through Face ID.

If you change your mind, you can also change the ringtone from Settings di iOS by pressing the icon first gear present on the home screen and then on Sounds. From here, access the list of ringtones. Just press on the favorite one to set it. Via the button Ringtones on the iTunes Storeinstead, you can directly access the section Ringtones a little while ago of the digital store.
