OS X Lion and Mountain Lion are now free to download

It is possible that this news seems to you that we have recycled it from the past, but no. Lion and Mountain Lion are momentarily back in the news because they can now be downloaded, legally and officially, for free.

And is that, even if you don't believe it (and maybe you don't care) until now for Apple the price of those operating systems was still € 15,99, the price on the day of its launch.

Starting last week, these updates are free and can be downloaded from the OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion support documents on Apple's website.

Out of curiosity, Mountain Lion was the first operating system to be sold exclusively digitally, and Apple also marketed Mountain Lion on a USB stick.
