How to change the weather | Wilderness Guide
To change the weather, you will need to change the date on your Nintendo Switch console. To make sure the date actually works, you need to replace the date with a future time - a date in the past will not work.
Change the date to the following days to get different weather conditions in the wild area. You might have to ride your bike to find it, but it's still out there somewhere.
- Snowflake: 2 / 1 / 20
- Couvert: 3 / 1 / 20
- Sandstorm: 4 / 1 / 20
- Ordinary: 5 / 1 / 20
- Brouillard: 6 / 1 / 20
- Intense sun: 7 / 1 / 20
- It is raining: 10 / 1 / 20
- Storm: 01 / 11 / 20
- Snow: 12 / 1 / 20
Remember deactivate synchronization via the Internet and to select these dates only in the future. If you check out this guide in 2020, don't forget to change those numbers to 2021! Etc!
How to change the date in-game
It is possible to change the date in the game. You can reset daily activities, reset raid densities, and change the weather, but you won't be able to speed up spawning, instantly complete poke jobs, or mine the lotto.
- Make sure you are (Offline / local) in the Y-Comm menu.
- Go to any Max Raid Den Wild area.
- Select 'Invite others"- don't worry, if you're online you'll never invite anyone.
- Hurry (Home) while the menu indicates "Search" and opens (System settings).
- In (System settings), go to System -> Date & Time -> Advance the day more than 24 hours.
- Check and make sureSynchronize over the Internet"Is disabled.
- Return to the game and press (B) to back up in front of the Max Raid Den.
Follow these directions in the wild area and you can change the weather conditions as much as you want. Unique Pokémon will always appear in certain weather conditions, and some of the rarest (and most useful) Pokémon are stuck behind specific weather conditions in the Wilderness area. Try them all to complete your Pokedex!
