The Combatribes it's a fighting video game scrolling developed and published by Technos Japan Corporation in 1990 in both arcade and console versions Super Nintendo.
Technos, thanks to its success 
with Double Dragon, released this video game 5 months prior to Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone. The Combatribes recalls the gameplay of Renegade, another mythical fighting game from the mid 80s. The game is indisputably violent and a lot of fun, given that martial skill is the master but rather brute strength.
There is no real one video game plot, at least not in the arcade version. However, we can guess that the protagonists are three vigilante who have the aim of freeing New York from criminal gangs that now keep the city in check. The version for SNES, on the other hand, offers a story in which these three vigilante are actually cyborgs, members of the “Combatribe Cyborg Unit“. However, their purpose remains the same: to defend the citizens of the Big Apple.
