Call of Juarez makes its debut on Nintendo Switch

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will hit the Nintendo Switch lounge in December, with improved motion controls and HD rumble effects. Jessie James, Billy the Kid and other legends are nothing compared to Silas Greaves, the bounty hunter who is now on Switch. This critically acclaimed computer cowboy shooter has made its way through all the relevant reviews and posts, shooting up to 8 or 9 stars, and now the action will be portable.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is an FPS shooter with a western theme taken from the famous Call of Juarez game series. The first installment was released in 2006, while the last one, the one now ported to Switch, was released in 2013. The original games come from Techland, a development and publishing company based in Poland, with Ubisoft until 2018. The titles were particularly appreciated for the quality of their music, composed by Pawel Blaszczak.

The original version is available for PC, PlayStation3 and Xbox 360. It was released in 2013, so it's come a long way, but this version of Switch will of course feature HD improvements. The game offers the traditional old west setting with unique story-based game modes (story, duel, and arcade) and follows Silas Greaves, the bounty hunter who narrates the trailer. Silas is not loved among all other gunslingers and outlaws, especially for the outrageous stories he tells about the murders of Butch Cassidy, Newman Haynes Clanton and their ilk. However, Silas quickly turns out to be wiser, as these stories usually end in the death or death of those who deserve it.

Call of Juarez: The Gunslinger Nintendo Switch release date is set for December 10, 2019, so tie up your horses. It brings the same elements as fans of the original, including overnight action, duels, goals, and bonuses. Silas can also dodge bullets every now and then with a quick event and uses dual pistols to immerse the player in a fantastic Wild West adventure unlike any other on Switch.
