Porygon is the polygonal Pokémon, made entirely from a coding error. While it debuted in the first games in the series, Pokemon Red and Blue, it was not available on the latest games, Sword and Shield. That changed, however, with the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC Isle of Armor. Here's how you can get Porygon to join your team.

Getting a Pokémon Sword and Shield Porygon is actually the very last reward in the Isle of Armor DLC main quest. To get it, you need to defeat Master Mustard after completing the Tower of Darkness or the Tower of Water. Once you beat him, go back to the dojo and go to the room to the right and a Porygon will float to the right near the Cram-o-matic. Examine the Pokémon and Hyde will give you a history lesson about the origins of the Pokémon and offer it to you to beat his father. Accept this offer and you now have Poryon!
After receiving Porygon, he will be at level 25, so you will need to do a bit of leveling with him to bring him to your current power level.
