How to catch the Bichir Saddle in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

How to catch the Bichir Saddle in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

There are many different fish to catch in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including the Saddled Bichir. This fish is worth 4000 bells, so while it's not the best for bell farming, you'll need to get it at least once for your little notebook.

To find the Saddled Bichir, you will need to search the rivers for fish spawning grounds. The saddled bichir has a large shadow size, but that does not guarantee that you will catch it, as many fish share this shadow size. The Barreleye will be available for fishing from 21 p.m. to 4 a.m., June through September in the Northern Hemisphere and December through March in the Southern Hemisphere.

So, to recap:

Northern hemisphere

  • Fish in rivers
  • Large size shade
  • Available from 21 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • From June to September

Southern hemisphere

  • Fish in rivers
  • Large size shade
  • Available from 21 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • December to March

A bait that will prove to be very useful in your quest to catch the saddled bichir or any other fish. Be sure to bring some with you when you plan to fish, as this will make more fish.
