While there are tons of different types of resources to collect, the only two that really matter are rupees and weapons. You'll want to get weapons to fuse to level up your favorite weapon, and you'll need a lot of rupees to pay for the smelting fee at the blacksmith. That makes sense, doesn't it?

The problem is, both can take a long time to gain. This is why I am going to explain to you the basics of farming against rupees and weapons. At the start of the game, it doesn't have to be, but when you're near the end of the game, you'll need all the cash and unwanted weapons you can get your hands on.

How To Farm Weapons And Rubies | Best breeding levels

Rupees are important for two reasons: to improve the characters in the post-match, and more importantly for merge weapons. As you progress, mergers will become more expensive.

If you're looking for a lot of cash and more weapon drops, here are a few levels you'll want to try.

Blood moon missions

At some point in history, you'll unlock Blood Moon missions. These are some of the best for farming in the game - they take around 20 minutes to complete, and you'll earn weapons and tons of loot that you can sell to vendors.

Clear everything on the map and sell the Bokoblin Guts. Any material you earn at this stage can be sold to Goalkeeper Rito Supplier for a value x2. This seller will buy all the meat for double.



Hair width test: beginner (level 15) | Best rupee farm


An early mission, you can start cultivating very early. It won't give you weapons, but it only takes 30 seconds to complete on Easy and you will earn 700 rupees per race.

Siege of Fort Hateno (Lv. 78) | Best gun farm

This endgame challenge lets you bring in 4 heroes - literally hunt down everything on the map on Easy and it's possible to earn 7 ~ weapons per hero, or around 28 ~ weapons per race.

Challenge Mission (Lv.80)

One of the highest level missions in the game is also the best for high value monster materials. This challenge mission pits you against Talus (x2), Hinox, Guardian, and a Lynel. They're all upgraded with Malice, so use Link's primary sword to deal bonus damage and play on Easy.


This mission will earn you 900 rupees and around 5 ~ weapons for Link.
