Mario Kart Tour - How to get a score of 6000 or more with a Koopaling driver

The Tokyo Tour has arrived Mario Kart Tour, which means a lot of new challenges to overcome. In this guide, we are going to show you how to get a score of 6000 or higher with a Koopaling pilot.

The first thing you will need for this Challenge is the right pilot. Fortunately, there are a lot of Koopalings in the game, so hopefully you have one. If not, check the Daily Picks to see if they're included in today's rotation, or activate the pipe using rubies to see if you can get one.

The Koopaling pilots with which you can complete this challenge are:

  • Iggy
  • Larry
  • Lemmy
  • Ludwig
  • Morton
  • Roy
  • Wendy

All pilots have vastly different skills, so just pick the one that's right for you. I would suggest Morton if you have it, as his giant banana ability almost guarantees hits so you can keep up a score combo very easily.

The next thing to consider is which track to race on. Some courses are just better at keeping up building score combos, which you will need to do to hit 6000 or more. The very first Rosalina Cup race at the Tokyo Tour is actually pretty good for that. Multiple small ramps, excellent turns for drifting, and coin placement make it super easy to maintain a scoring combo on this course.

Remember, in order for your combo to continue building, you will need to do the following:

  • Have a higher level of pilot, vehicle or glider
  • Hit other drivers with objects while playing
  • Collect coins
  • Hit a drift to get a boost
  • Preform a boost
  • End at a higher placement, such as first

You have a short time after any of the above actions before the combo is broken, so do your best to chain all the actions into a long combo trail. It may take a bit of practice, but the Tokyo Blur T course is a great place to do it.
