Pick this Starter Pokemon for an early advantage - Pokemon Sword and Shield

And the three starters are pretty creatures who end up being heavy and powerful fighters. All of them can work while you are playing, so there is no reason not to choose your favorite game. But if you don't have a preference, there's a good reason to pick a particular Pokémon.

How to Evolve All New Pokémon in the Galar Region

Which Starter Pokémon To Choose

At the start of, there are three newbie Pokémon to choose from - they're all good and they're all going to help you win in the long run, but there's one choice that will make the first gym a cinch.

  • Scorbunny: Type of fire - Warm-blooded rabbit.
  • Grookey: Grass type - Muscular monkey.
  • Sobble: Water type - Aggressive amphibian.

It's hard to choose! All of these Pokémon eventually evolve into incredible level 3 creatures, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one is better. All three evolve at Nv. 16 et Nv. 35 - so no difference there. Each is a different type, but these types are also useful in the early stages of the game… in general.

The first three gymnasiums are Turrfield (Lawn gymnasium), Hulbury (Water gymnasium) and Motostoke (Fire type gym). This means that your Scorbunny fire has the advantage in the first gymnasium. Of course, all three Pokémon ultimately have an advantage - and a disadvantage.

If you're looking for a large-format choice, Grass-type Pokémon have the most weaknesses - The Fire, Ice, Poison, Fly, and Bug types are all very effective against the Grass type.. The water type has only two weaknesses - Electric and grass. The types of fire are more balanced, with three weaknesses and four strengths - weak against water, earth and rockMore super effective against Grass, ice, insect and steel.

Metal Pokémon are particularly annoying, even if they are rare. Right now Scorbunny has the first advantage of but until I play deep in the post-game I can't say if he's the best overall pick. Basically I have a lot more of this game to play.
