The following changes are only temporary - released on March 12, no end date listed yet. We will keep you informed of the date on which these changes will be reversed. This update is designed specifically to limit your outdoor exposure and remove the requirements for social gatherings. Here's what that means for.

    • A one-time purchase pack of 30 Incense for 1 PokeCoin.
    • The incense will last 1 hour.
    • Eggs in incubators hatch twice as fast - the hatching distance is halved.
    • PokeStops is dropping giveaways more frequently.
    • More Pokémon will appear in the wild, with more habitats.

Essentially, Pokemon will spawn a lot more frequently. You'll also have access to tools so you don't have to go out for that long. Pokémon are much more likely to spawn right in your home or workplace.
