Is the No Match for Magmar ticket worth buying?
The No Match for Magmar ticket costs only $ 0,99, or your local equivalent. We're still waiting for the full list of rewards to be revealed, but based on previous Community Days, especially Electabuzz from last week, it's probably worth buying if you want to participate in the event and want more Magmar. .
Magmar will spawn everywhere during the event hours, so you will definitely catch a lot of them. And we hope a lot of them will be brilliant. But the No Match for Magmar Special Research will give you a lot more and with brighter odds. Additionally, if you use Incense, Poffins, or Rocket radars, you'll be happy with the rewards here. And if you need more Magmar candy, that's a big boost too, with previous posts offering dozens of additional candies for evolutions and power-ups.
Of course, whether the No Match for Magmar ticket is worth it or not depends on your personal situation. However, at such a low price and with over a dollar in rewards, it seems worth buying for most players. No match for special research tasks and Magmar rewards
We are currently awaiting the final reveal of No Match for Magmar Special Research tasks and rewards. However, based on previous Community Day posts like this, we have speculated on the final tasks and the rewards. Below you'll see our best guess of what you have in store, and we'll update it as soon as we have more firm information.
NOTE: The tasks and rewards below are speculation. They will be modified if necessary and noted here when they become official.
Step 1
Power Up Pokemon 10 times - 10 Poké Balls
Catch 15 Magmar - 20 Magmar Candy
Make 5 nice throws - Meet Magmar
Rewards - 2000 Stardust, 10 Pinap Berry and a meeting with Magmar
Step 2
Catch 15 Magmar - 50 Magmar Candy
Transfer 10 Pokémon - 500 Stardust
Use 15 Pinap Berries to help catch Pokemon - 1 Sinnoh Stone
Rewards - 2000 Stardust, Incense and Poffin
Step 3
Make 3 awesome Curveball throws - 50 Magmar candies
Evolve 1 Magmar – 2 Golden Razz Berry
Transfer 10 Pokémon - 1500 XP
Rewards - 2000 Stardust, Incense and Rocket Radar
Step 4
Claim Reward - 5000 Stardust

Claim Reward - 2 Silver Pinap Berries
Rewards - 2000 Stardust, 3 Rare Candy and an encounter with Magmortar
