Pokemon Masters is a simple Pokemon experience. Players are not going to walk around looking for new Pokemon on their roster. Instead, they're going to focus on Synchronized Pairs, which include famous Pokémon trainers and their ideal Pokémon picks. Although Sync Pairs is focused on the game, some players are curious if they are trading those Sync Pairs for a new combination.
Can you change your Pokemon in Pokemon Masters?
You cannot change your Pokemon beyond the sync pairs already entered in the game. Each player in the game begins with a pikachu as the primary Pokémon. At this time, the developers haven't opened up the game enough to give players the opportunity to switch Starter Pokémon.
More sync pairs will be released in the future. These may feature some of the current trainers in the game with the new Pokemon. For example, there are two versions of Brock. You have the traditional Brock and Onyx combinations, then the Sygna Suit Brock and Tyranitar pairs. The new pair comes with a new move set for Tyranitar.
