Rage Racer is the third title in the Ridge Racer series, developed for Sony PlayStation da Namco. The video game was released in Japan on December 3, 1996 and later also arrived in Europe and North America.

and darker than the other titles in the series, even if the elements in common with Ridge Racer are still many. The real, big news of the videogame is the possibility to undertake one career in single player mode with credit system. By winning the races you get credits, which you can use to upgrade your car. There are 5 racing classes, ranging from 1 to 5: the goal of the game is to earn money (credits) to spend on new cars or mechanical components. If the player wins all three races of a class he earns the golden trophy for that particular class. Winning classes and GPs allows you to unlock extra content and new GPs, as well as a very difficult sixth class to win.

CHANGE THE COLORS OF THE LOGO
When creating your logo, move the cursor out of the painting area and press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + SELECT. When the RGB option appears, move the cursor to one color and press R1 + UP or DOWN to have more colors available.
MIRROR TRACKS
After selecting RACE START press L1 + R1 + SELECT + START RACE to unlock the reversed circuits, as if they were in the mirror.

To drive the black car, you have to finish first in every race it is in.
