Apex Legends Havoc Rifle Guide - Season 6 Update

Apex Legends Havoc Rifle Guide - Season 6 Update

When Respawn introduced the Havoc Assault Rifle to Apex Legends, the studio described it as a weapon with “multiple personalities”. The Havoc has undergone a myriad of changes since then, but its main personality remains "wicked". This high energy DPS ammunition weapon can melt people down at medium and close range, and it remains a mainstay in Apex Legends' competitive arsenal in Season 6. Here's everything you need to know about the Havoc.

Havoc Assault Rifle Failure

Here are the main stats of the weapon:

  • Magazine size: 24/28/32/36
  • Head / Body / Leg Damage: 36/18 / 13,5
  • Ammo Type: Energy
  • Fire mode: automatic, single shot (with hop-up)
  • Attachments: Optic, Stock, Mag, Hop-up

The Havoc takes a fraction of a second to warm up before it starts firing, and it has an average horizontal and vertical kick on par with the Flatline. Regardless of warm-up, this weapon has the highest DPS in the assault rifle class.

In terms of energy ammo options, the Havoc is the most efficient and flexible weapon you can grab in Apex Legends this season. It has better accuracy and ammo consumption than the Devotion and L-Star, a stronger damage profile than the Volt, and a longer effective range than all three.

Havoc personalities

Unlike other Apex Legends weapons, the Havoc can equip two different hop-up accessories: the Turbocharger or the Selectfire Receiver. You have to choose one over the other.

By equipping the Selectfire Receiver, you can transform the Havoc into a single shot sniper rifle. This fire mode is one of only two hitcan options in the game, the other being the Charge Rifle. Like the Charged Rifle, the Selectfire Havoc takes half a second to warm up before firing. The shot has perfect accuracy, dealing 60 body damage and 90 gunshot damage to the head. This shot has damage decrease, gradually decreasing damage as your target is further away, up to 25% reduction beyond the 250 yard mark. Each shot in this mode consumes 4 ammo.

Comparatively, the turbocharger simply removes the warm-up time from the normal Havoc fire mode, making the weapon easier to use.
