Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders

Our complete guide to the world of Destiny 2 was born to help and accompany you in all aspects of this vast world that develops in parallel on two fronts: a campaign made of PVE mission and a multiplayer part made of battles to the last drop on PVP maps. In both cases it will be very important to understand, choose and try different classes and subclassesof characters, find the best equipment with rare armor and above all learn to handle all kinds of weapons. Not to mention the fact that one of the most agonizing elements for players are Exotic Weapons and Exotic Armor. Our Destiny 2 guide is meant to make you find in one place all this information that you won't otherwise find in a complete way on the web. We also thought we'd put all the in-game extras, troubleshooting common issues to create as complete an article as possible. We've done just that and in a separate article you'll find the solution to the campaign quests with videos that will guide you through the vast world of the game.

Destiny 2 Game Class & Subclass Guide

Destiny 2's class system is more complex than its predecessor, but don't worry - you'll find all the details on the main classes and individual offshoots in this guide. But let's go in order.

There are t Destiny 2 res core classes and each of them has two special subclasses:

1) Titan (raider and sentry subclasses).

2) Sorcerer (Voidwalker and Dawnblade subclasses)

3) Hunter (Fulminator and Gunslinger subclasses)

Warning: each individual subclass has specific skill branches called codes, the player must choose which one to develop initially and then move on to the next.

Million Dollar Question: Which class to choose to start with? There is no right or wrong answer, it all depends on your play style and your aggressiveness in the game. Read the characteristics of each individual class and try to figure out which one is best for you.

Titan

Perhaps the most suitable class for newcomers, perfect for those who love a simple but at the same time tremendously functional approach. Titans can be used as human walls, guardians capable of absorbing a great deal of damage without ever falling down, or alternatively as precursors to the tantk, the front line capable of allowing wizards and hunters to do their job.

The mobility of titans is not comparable to that of a hunter, but their energy recovery is much higher and the skills available are definitely useful to the individual and the team. A good titan, in fact, can stop bullets, deflect deadly shots and give the team those few seconds to regroup and strike devastatingly.

Assailant (Titan subclass)

This subclass is perfect for players who love the immediacy of the titan but at the same time don't want to give up an aggressive approach. The equipment includes beam grenades, stun and pulse, while the super is known as the "Fists of Destruction". This truly devastating move allows your guardian to inflict area damage by literally jumping on your enemies. Not very fancy perhaps, but tremendously useful in the more blocky stages of the fight. There are two codes here:

(a) Puzzlebreaker: a series of perks that further increase your offensive potential, with abilities to make it easier to use explosives and improve your super handling.

b) Inexorable: a series of skills designed to turn attacks into defense, very useful in PvE to get out of the most complex confrontations alive.

Sentry (Titan subclass)

Feeling particularly tanky? Then this subclass is perfect for you. Sentinels have a decidedly defensive focus, their super generates a large shield that can be used to advance and strike enemies deadly. Equipment includes magnetic, adhesive and suppressor grenades (very useful for inhibiting enemy abilities). There are two codes, again:

(a) Protector: specialization that further increases your defensive potential. Thanks to the advantages of this branch you can get protection bonuses through good offensive activity.

b) Aggressor: This branch, as the name suggests, allows the guardian to be more offensive and use his abilities to open the way for his teammates. There are also abilities that reduce the recharge time of the super.

Hunter

The "Hunter" class is by no means easy to master, it is characterized by high mobility and requires a lot of control to be exploited properly. A good hunter, however, can be a bad customer for enemies in both PvE and PvP, so if you're attracted to this class go for it without fear. Clearly we're talking about a warrior type that does mobility and accelerates your strength, aiming to kill the enemy before they can hit you with full force. If you approach a target the wrong way, you'll be in a lot of trouble, though your movement skills (and more) will often and willingly get you out of trouble. The basic skills, in fact, allow you to make quick dodges getting you into advantageous positions to respond to enemy fire.

But let's go in order and look at the individual subclasses along with their respective codes:

Gunslinger (subclass hunter).

You should pick this speciality just for its super, a beautiful golden gun ready to go berserk on the targets in front of you. Jokes aside, Gunslingers are equipped with incendiary grenades, lasers and shammers (the latter allow special drones to attack their targets inflicting more or less serious damage). The laser grenade, on the other hand, is very useful in PvP, but requires intelligence and a good knowledge of the maps to be exploited properly. There are two codes, depending on the lore:

(a) Snipers: skill branch designed for those who love clean and precise work. By making accurate shots, you will not only inflict more damage, but also gain various bonuses to magazines and mobility.

b) Outlaws: this code contains interesting perks, the super is definitely useful and allows you to throw an explosive knife that can do a lot of damage. However, once again, players are driven to hit in a precise and neat manner.

Lightning (Hunter subclass)

The super fulinator allows you to wield a dangerous bow club, a truly deadly weapon if you underestimate that it takes some practice to master. We are indeed talking about a useful tool of death in both close combat and short/medium range, but good timing is still needed to avoid a bad ending. The super isn't devastating and isn't even as stylish as the gunslinger's, but it still has its own charm and is quite useful in situations where you have to handle large groups of enemies (maybe even in the super). The equipment includes lightning grenades, very useful for doing area damage to annoying groups of enemies. There are also two codes here, let's look at them together:

(a) Warriors: this branch contains perks designed specifically for users eager to engage in melee combat, the skills are perfect for close and medium range.

b) Wind Path: a series of perks that allow the player to not only get out of difficult situations quickly, but also to adopt "bite and run" tactics to quickly strike the enemy.

Sorcerer

The last of the Destiny 2 core classes is the Sorcerer. Difficult to master but at the same time very fascinating, these guardians are probably the most disadvantaged in PvP, but they still have some very remarkable skills.

Their basic skills allow them to take on a role of mere support, but at the same time allow the user to also have some flexibility in skill management. Mages, in fact, can evoke healing sources or, alternatively, sources that can increase the damage inflicted by allies. The player must, of course, be able to understand the momentum of the game, must know the state of his allies and act accordingly. Mobility is certainly more than good, players can also activate a short teleport extremely useful in PvP. But let's go in order and look at the individual subclasses.

Voidwalker (Warlock subclass)

This particular subclass relies entirely on energy management and maniplation. The user can use it to deal damage, but nothing prevents it from being used more defensively. As we said before, it's all about the user's ability to understand the moment by acting on it. The super, also seen in the first chapter, is great and allows you to inflict damage over large areas through a real powerbomb. The basic equipment includes vortex grenades, assional scatter darts and devastators. The codes, as always, are two:

(a) Voracity: skill branch that further enhances the aforementioned super. The perks also allow the user to use special combos to attack and at the same time recharge their energy.

b) Chaos: a very intriguing but very complex specialization. The super is more powerful but also slower, while the abilities are mainly offensive.

Dawnblade (warlock subclass)

The super of this particular subclass allows the player to hit distant targets over and over again, dealing massive damage without necessarily being close to the enemy. The basic equipment includes pyrotechnic, fusion, and solar grenades, all quite offensive and geared towards an explosive approach. As far as harmonization is concerned, it is strictly necessary to make a clear and precise distinction. We are talking about:

(a) Sky: high potential skill branch, perfect for players who love aerial and spectacular kills. We have some doubts about the real effectiveness in PvP, but it's too early to talk.

b) Fire: This skill branch is more hand-to-hand oriented than the previous one, improves the basic super and allows the player to use energy recovery skills.

Destiny 2 how to unlock hidden areas (EARTH, TITAN, IO and NESO)

Hidden areas are nothing more than places that are not on the game map, which the player must discover on their own. Every time you unlock or find a hidden area there will be a boss to deal with. Once you defeat that boss you will be able to open the chest that is usually found in each hidden area. During this first part of the game we can say that it's not difficult to find many of the hidden areas. In fact, many of them will have direct access during the challenges in the missions. To find the hidden areas we have also created an ad hoc article that guides you step by step through the hidden areas on Earth, Nessus, Titan and I with maps showing all the exact locations. We would like to remind you that the hidden zones are

  1. - Seventeen hidden zones on planet Earth
  2. - Three on Titan
  3. - Five on NESSUS
  4. - Three on IO

If you want to find everything in a video, here it is below, but we suggest you check out our dedicated guide which is more comprehensive and easier to use.

Destiny 2 Exotic Weapon Location and Power

Looking for exotic weapons? Below you'll find a full list of weapons, where to find them, and a comprehensive description of their potential.

Exotic Kinetic Weapons

Exotic kinetic weapons are extremely powerful, let's find out how to find Sturm, Mida multi instrument, kinetic automatic rifle, kinetic pulse rifle and support weapon.

1 - STURM - Kinetic Hand Held Cannon

Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders
As the name says, this weapon calls storm and only works perfectly if you have also equipped Drang - Anguish. How much you have equipped Sturm you keep as a backup weapon Drang. Every kill you make with Sturm will reload the Drang weapon with your spare ammo. If you do the opposite, and have Sturm as a backup weapon, you will increase your critical damage each time someone dies with Drang. HOW TO GET IT First you have to finish Destiny 2 ... Then you will unlock the "Captain O" mission in Nessus (one of the hidden areas). Both weapons will be found during this mission. The detail in the video below:

2- Midas Multi Instrument - Auromatic Rifle | Kinetic

Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders

The Midas Multi is a weapon that really can and comes directly from the first Destiny. It is an extraordinarily light weapon that also speeds up your movement. This weapon offers an additional bonus with the MIDA Mini-heavy machine gun equipped as an energy weapon.
HOW TO GET IT First of all you have to complete the main campaign. Then you have to complete ALL the EDZ missions which, as you know, can take some time. For the EDZ missions you have to find all the blue missions you see around the different worlds and complete them. Once you have done this, go back to the church and go to the vendor who will give you the Maite Mini. From here you need to go to another vendor and start a mission that will require you to do 25 kills without using the real loadout, so that's 25 headshots. So it's a real undertaking. You can find all the details in the video below which explains exactly how to do it:

3- Dirty Business - Automatic Rifle | Kinetics.

This exotic automatic rifle business weapon is one of the first ones that you can get high on. It is an automatic rifle that really gives you a great satisfaction in terms of gameplay. In fact, it allows you to shoot continuously without ever reloading, thanks to the fact that it picks up ammunition automatically from the ground by simply holding the fire button. It also has an accuracy bonus when you shoot at point-blank range, so it's perfect to have on hand - you won't regret it! HOW TO GET IT For now it was obtained by some users who had finished the main campaign on the planet EDZ by wandering through the live events. During one of them, this sweet rifle was doped, much to the joy of those who now enjoy it.

4- Surveillance Wing - Pulse Rifle : Kinetic

A beautiful rifle. It fires 5-round bursts with a very useful bonus: when a nearby ally dies, it triggers health regeneration and increases movement speed. This makes it particularly suitable for team play. Another interesting bonus is that if you are the last team member left alive, this weapon increases in power. HOW TO GET IT We will update you on this soon, so far we haven't found a precise way to get it.

5 - Rat King - Support Weapon | Kinetics

Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders
Aesthetically wonderful: it has a very large magazine and rats (mice) embedded in the barrel. An equally wonderful perk: you can make it invisible for a certain period of time and it increases in effectiveness depending on how many team members use it. A very special support weapon. HOW TO GET IT - Before completing the mission "enemy of my enemy" in Titan. At this point you will have another mission called: Rat King Crew which is divided into 4 steps. Each of these steps cannot be done alone, but it is mandatory to be in a team. You can see exactly all the steps to get the weapon in this video below:

Exotic Energy Weapons

Let's go now to the list of exotic energy weapons, let's find out how to get the tracer rifle, bow machine gun, recon rifle, portable cannon, automatic rifle and grenade launcher!

6 - Frosty Heart - Rifle Tracer | Bow Rifle

This rifle belongs to a new category of weapons. It is a tracer rifle that fires a cold fusion laser beam. The damage increases proportionally with the time the target is hit.

HOW TO GET IT

Did you pre-order the game? Then that's the only way to get this weapon for now. The icy heart is given to those who complete a special mission, which is only assigned to

7- Risk Lover - Machine Gun | Bow

When you take bow damage, this weapon becomes more powerful and resistant to bow damage. Assassinations prolong this state. As the name suggests, this weapon is very risky because it is not easy to use. HOW TO GET IT To get the exotic risk weapon you have to play the story of Planet Moon precisely in IO you have to complete the first mission. As a reward you can choose from three weapons, one of which is this risk lover. Note that to complete the mission in question you must be at least level 11.

8- Gravitational Launch - Reconnaissance Rifle | Vacuum

Each volley of this weapon is devastating: the last bullet of each volley passes through space-time, inflicting massive damage without losing ranged power. A good choice for everyone. HOW TO GET IT The Gravitational Lance is the second weapon of choice along with your risk-lover when you complete your first IO mission.

9 - Solar Impact - Portable Cannon : Solar

Explosive bullets for a mix of accuracy and massive damage. A weapon that looks good for hunters because of the accuracy with which it fires, but marks each target with a special mark and detonates them. Fun to use and great in battle, this handheld cannon has given us a lot of satisfaction, especially when you see enemies explode in a blaze of light. HOW TO ASSIST Solar Impact is the third weapon of choice along with the Risk Lover and Gravitational Lance in the first IO mission.

10 - Hard Light - Automatic Rifle | Bow/Vacuum/Solar

Another welcome return from Destiny 1. The damage of bullets fired with this weapon has the characteristic of not losing power at distance and penetrating deep. It will be possible, if you're good, to heashot across the map. They also bounce off hard surfaces. HOW TO GET IT Drugged in public events as a reward.

11 - Roaring Lion - ThrowGarnet | Void

A quirky and fun weapon. The grenades it fires have the ability to bounce off surfaces and also detonate on command. Fire and hold to throw the grenade, release to detonate (or detonate as you wish). This weapon also allows you to use two heavy weapons simultaneously. HOW TO HOLD IT When the legendary Engrams are hijacked. It doesn't seem to be possible to get it with a quest or mission.

12 - Burner's Oath - Reconnaissance Rifle : Solar

A reconnaissance rifle that is powerful and does a lot of damage. This rifle actually fires solar bullets that increase in power when fired from the scope. It is able to pierce the phalanx shield and does more damage to the cabal. HOW TO GET IT You can take it through missions (Nightfall) or multiplayer.

Powerful Exotic Weapons

Now let's move on to the deadly weapons, let's talk about the powerful exotic weapons, let's find out how to get the D.A.R.R.C.I, the Prospector, the rifle with the most powerful DPS in the whole game, i.e. the Solar Fusion Rifle, the brand newArcius weapon, the Pull Cannon and the Wardclif Coil .

13 - D.A.R.R.C.I. - Perception Rifle | Archer

A Sniper Rifle gives you invaluable information about your target. As you aim, your enemies' health and other critical information will be displayed. The information is displayed when the personal assistant is activated, and critical damage is also increased when the personal assistant is active. Certainly a useful rifle, but not the best of the exotics. HOW TO GET IT You can drug it in PVE or PVP.

14 - Prospector - Grenade Launcher : Solar

Perfect for controlling a large number of enemies. This grenade launcher allows you to fire multiple bullets consecutively and then detonate them all together in the crowd instead of at a specific point. It is used by pulling the trigger to fire multiple bullets consecutively and when released all active bullets detonate simultaneously. Especially good for PVE gameplay. HOW TO GET IT You can get it by doping legendary Engrams in public events.

15 - Mercilessly - Fusion Rifle : Solar

A Fusion Rifle with the highest DPS in the entire game. If the shot does not kill the enemy, the reload time before the next shot decreases until a kill occurs. Preserve Momentum is the bonus in question. Useful especially in PVP battles as well because after the kill you lose the achieved speed bonus but you will get a temporary damage increase. HOW TO GET IT You can get it by doping legendary Engrams in public events.

16 - legend of acrius - Rifle Bomb : Arc

This weapon fires a high-powered arc of energy that rips through Destiny 2 enemies. Especially useful in PVP HOW TO GET IT There is still little information on this particular weapon. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated with all the news as soon as possible.

17 - Pull Cannon - Pump Rifle - Void

Blank damage for a rifle that blasts enemies away with a strong boost - this weapon seems to come straight from the portal world! When you literally say "get rid of people". This shotgun is a winning choice especially in PVE HOW TO GET IT Also this shotgun, as well as most exotic weapons can be drug into Exotic Engrams which are mostly picked up at public events.

18 - Wardcliff's Coil - Rocket Launcher | Arc

This weapon fires a barrage of rockets and reloads automatically when ammo is collected. A truly terrible power in your hands. HOW TO HAVE IT, this cannon shot as well as most of the exotic weapons can be drugged into Exotic Engrams which are mainly collected at public events.

19 - Borealis - Precision Rifle : Solar/Bow/Vacuum

Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders

This sniper rifle is exclusive to Playstation 4 owners. This rifle is capable of firing bullets from all three elements: solar, arc and vacuum.

Solve the cabbage bug

One of the most massively buggy bugs for users attending the game's servers since yesterday is the cabbage code bug that inexorably disconnects you from the game presuming a wrong network configuration. There's nothing wrong with the network configuration, it's a Boungie bug that's happening because the servers are still unstable and have only recently opened, which is why you get this script and this error, but there's nothing you can do about it at the network level. The solution to fix the Cabbage Patch error is instead to brutally reboot the console whether it's the Playstation 4 or the Xbox One. In both cases, in fact, by reviving the entire console and then renewing the network mapping you will most likely be able to get back into the game. This type of bug was also present in the beta and is called the moose bug.
EXPERT SOLUTION: Forward the following ports to your modem/router, so you no longer have disconnects of any kind. If you want more information about port forwarding, read the article dedicated to the col error. The outgoing ports are as follows:

Destiny 2 - Playstation 4

TCP: 1935,3478-3480

UDP: 3074,3478-3479

Destiny 2 - Xbox One

TCP: 3074

UDP: 88,500,1200,3074,3544,4500

Destiny 2 Shader

Destiny 2 Guide - Exotic Weapons, Classes, Areas, Shaders, and Shaders

In this new chapter shaders are disposable, so they can only dye one piece of Destiny 2 your armor at a time. Where to find all the shaders? It's easy to say: we've made a comprehensive guide that shows you exactly which shaders you can get by engraving and which ones you get by doing certain actions in the game. And above all... we show you which actions are necessary to get all the shaders in Destiny 2 .
In the meantime, here's a sample of the shaders that can't be taken by engrams.

  1. DeadzoneFoliage You must play for the European deadzone faction and increase their reputation.
  2. Deadzone Bark You must increase the reputation of the European deadzone faction in the land.
  3. New Pacific Rush The archaeologists of the planet Titan are the faction to increase the reputation for if you want to make this blue colorazoin really very beautiful.
  4. Boreal Defiant A very beautiful golden shader, found in the regional titanium chests, not easy to get!
  5. Nessus Pursuit To get this Destiny 2 Shader you must increase the reputation of the Arcadia Valley faction.
  6. Nessus Mirage As in point five, to get a beautiful white color you must increase the reputation of the Arcadia Valley faction.

What are the fighters in Destiny 2?

Combatants, in the simplest sense, are anything you manage to kill, i.e. all the opponents in the game. Where it gets a little weirder is that only certain opponents will count for this difficult-to-fulfill purpose, and only under certain conditions.

How to change your class in Destiny 2?

Right now, to change your Subclass, all you're going to have to do is detect the unlocked Subclass you want to equip and select it. Then, exit the Subclass menu to the Character screen, and at this point you should see an icon representing that New Subclass where the obsolete Subclass icon used to be.

What are Destiny 2's Bow abilities?

The Bow Rod is the Super ability of the Bow Rider Hunter, one of Destiny 2's novel subclasses. With it, our Guardian is going to be able to make a Pure Energy Staff and acrobatically remove opponents.

How to use Destiny 2 engrams?

Concentrate on the Threshold engrams and determine the loot yourself.
1. You can select whether you want a weapon, armor or even a new season set.
2. The more precisely you want to limit the loot pool the engram item comes from, the more expensive it will be.

How to level up in Destiny 2?

The effective way to achieve the highest level (20) is to surpass the Operation, the story mode, something that can be accomplished in about 10 to 12 hours precisely. By doing this you will certainly achieve the highest level, at which point you have to worry about raising your Power, getting superior weapons and armor.
