You play as Ylo, fighter pilot and driller. He crashed on an alien planet and lost his crew made up of his 3 friends: Tvi, Mri and Kri. The goal of Digger Expedition was to find Power Crystals. This is still Ylo's main goal, but he has to get his friends back while trying to find as much treasure as possible. Soon the player, i.e. Ylo, will find out that his team is alive and doing their own research, and that's where the fun begins.

This game consists of separate adventures that last about an hour and take you to dig underground to find your friends. Your team will send you clues as to where you should go, and you'll scour the planet and search for them, collecting crystals as you go. The goal is to make this planet habitable and to establish a base. However, the difficulty of the Dig Three mobile game increases rapidly as it offers an endless race mode for the best players, who will compete after the story ends.
