I invite our fellow readers not to leave the page today, because we are dealing with the review of a SSD NVMe PCIe3.0, a rather standard product, which therefore shouldn't hide any surprises; but that instead has left us blown away.

I take this opportunity to deepen, saying that it is our first collaboration with this partner company and we had never had a chance to test their products before.
Goodram IRDM 2 TB • Technical specifications
THESSD NVme PCI Express 3.0 di GOODRAM: L 'IRDM has 3D TLC BiCS4 flash memories owners of Toshiba, a Phison memory controller (PS5012-E12) with two cores with a 28 nm production process and a memory buffer with two 5 G SK hynix H4AN8G1NBJR.
THESSD Nvme M.2 is available in memory cuts from 256GB, 512GB, 1TB e 2TB and the format isM2 2280.
Specification speeds change based on the size of the model in question, as clearly seen in the table below.

La GOODRAM official warranty is 5 years.
Price details? Well, let's say the product is badly marketed. The point of the review is just that. As we will see we will not be able to draw any conclusions since it will not be available on the major and main shops for purchase.
Some models can be purchased on Amazon, however, at exorbitant and off-market prices. On the official website under the section "where to buy" or where to buy, a reference shop is indicated, whose link however does not work.
So theGoodram's IRDM is a phantom SSD, purchasable yes, but at prices that immediately appear out of the market compared to the competition (fault of poor marketing).
We would therefore heartily recommend to the team GOODRAM to invest more in its sales department, or if the prices found on the net should be effective, make some considerations much more in-depth.
Let's now find out together how the drive behaves from a purely performance point of view.
Goodram IRDM 2 TB • Test & Benchmark
We just have to find out what the performance dell 'Goodram Nvme Pci3.0 SSD.
As we will see, the product will behave very well from a purely performance point of view.
The main problems are in fact quite different: availability and marketing of the product on the major shops.
Goodram IRDM 2 TB • CrystalDiskMark
Tests conducted on CrystalDiskMark reveal theIRDM as a valid product, especially from a performance point of view.
It must be remembered that we are always dealing with a SSD Nvme Pci Express 3.0, therefore whose performances cannot be in the least equal to those of some products present in the graphs.
Le specification speed are fully respected. Not just up CrystalDiskMark, as we will see, but also on the other tools.
Although not present in the guide since not directly tested by us, there are models produced by Sabrento, as the Rocket or Rocket Q, which do almost the same performances.
The model Sabrento on the cut from 512 GB costs more than the counterpart IRDM.
However theIRDM at Goodram in cuts by 1TB e 2 TB it is very overpriced, due to poor marketing. It is no coincidence that we find the cut from 1 TB for around 156 euros, when the counterparty Sabrent Rocket o Rocket Q it is about 120 euros on average.
This does not allow us to establish a true comparison, even economic.
Random reads and writes are also good. Put simply, there is no lack of substance.
Goodram IRDM 2 TB • ATTO Disk Benchmark
ATTO is a tool that we need to study the behavior ofSSD on moving files of variable size, then check if the speeds are kept constant in each of these.
This program allows us to see in a broader and more precise way the performances according to multiple factors.
Basically it is a more complete version of the tool seen above!
As clearly visible from the graph, here too theIRDM does a nice job, standing above every other model PCI Express 3.0 tested by us so far.
The speech is clearly valid both for the sequential read and write benchmarks.
There may be lower values here as the overall transfer is of a size of 256GBInstead of 1 GB as in CrystalDiskMark.
Goodram IRDM 2 TB • Anvil’s storage Utilities
Anvil’s Storage Utilities it's a benchmark tool per SSD and disks.
This allows us not only to clearly see the results in terms of performance, of IOPS, but even to find out what the latencies. In consideration of these numerous data, the program then makes an estimate by displaying a "score" on the screen that will make things easier and more readable even for the less experienced.
This graph is particularly significant as it makes us understand the potential of this product, which calmly holds its own against its competitors and surpasses them in almost every result.
The only doubt that remains is? What do we do with a great SSD that cannot be bought easily, on a reliable and renowned shop like Amazon and at a price similar to the MSRP one?
The problem once again is not the performance, which we have seen shine without particular difficulties.

Goodram IRDM 2 TB • Conclusions
It is difficult to draw definitive conclusions regarding this product.
What has now become evident to you who have read the review so far is that theIRDM at Goodram it's a PCI Express 3.0 SSD extremely valid.
The problems of marketing and availability are very serious, to the point that on the official website the link to the only store suggested for purchase is not working.
I models in 1 and 2 TB version they appear hugely overpriced compared to what their actual prices should be, or at prices that can at least intimidate competition.
At this point it is clear how to bet on Sabrento in the models Rocket e Rocket Q (just to cite some examples), may be more logical, for a better price and availability, and then obviously for greater reliability.
Sorry for goodram, we hope that this, and other reviews like ours, can help in making people understand how important the work of the sales department of their organization is, which, as far as the Spanish market is concerned, is leaking everywhere.
