Disintegration Story Mode, rather than its multiplayer component, can be your first port of call after purchasing it. With 12 chapters to go, you might be curious how long it will take to beat so you can explore its other kind of play as well.

How many hours do I need to beat Disintegration story mode?
Let's start with the number of difficulty settings. Before you jump into your first game, you'll see that you have four options to choose from. They are Story, Recruit, Maverick and Outlaw.
Story is Easiest Difficulty, Recruiting is Medium, Maverick is Hard, and Outlaw is Very Hard. We beat Disintegration on Recruit and Maverick, so we've got an idea of how long you'll need to beat him on those options.
For the Recruit difficulty, each mission will take approximately 35 to 40 minutes to complete. This also takes into account some explorations if you want to collect and upgrade tokens to improve your team's abilities. There are 12 chapters in Disintegration, as we mentioned, a Recruit scan will take between seven and eight hours to beat.
Of course, if you explore more or play faster, you will have more or less time to beat the campaign. This is our rough number, and gives you an idea of how many hours you will put into it.
For Maverick, each mission can take anywhere from 50 minutes to an hour. That's if you manage to survive every mission without dying, which is a tall order. There are difficult sections with waves of enemies and a few boss battles that will give you an almighty challenge.
Again, with 12 chapters to complete, you'll need 10-12 hours to beat Disintegration on Maverick difficulty. It will increase or decrease the amount of recovery and other collectibles and whether you can defeat your enemies in less time than us.
The story difficulty shouldn't take too long to beat, especially since it's set up to allow you to progress quickly and enjoy Disintegration's story. The Outlaw Difficulty will take you a while if our playthroughs are any indication. We imagine that you are going to reset several times, but we trust you to beat it in sufficient time.
