Mimiqui returns in Pokémon Sword and Shield, to the delight of The fans. The popular Sun and Moon Pokémon is once again wearing a slightly spooky Pikachu outfit and can be found in-game if you know where to look.
Mimiqui is very difficult to get, but you can search the wild area first. Near the giant's mirror, you will have a chance to stumble upon this rather strange Pokémon. To increase the spooky factor a bit more, Mimiqui will only spawn when the weather is foggy. If you arrive in the area and the weather is not suitable for this Pokemon hunt, you can try to change it by changing the time on your Switch.
To change the time on your switch, follow these steps:
- Access system settings
- Scroll down to the System tab
- Click on data and time
- Change your time zone
- Save the change
You should only change the time in approximately two to three hour increments. Keep in mind; there is no guarantee that the next weather cycle in the area will be fog, so keep changing it until you are lucky.
On top of that, Mimiqui is an incredibly rare spawn. So you might be on the hunt for this for quite a while, as its spawn rate is below five percent. One of the advantages is that the area is filled with other interesting spawns. You can expect to see the likes of Crèmy and Grimalin while you search for Mimiqui. I would suggest grabbing every Creamy you see, as you will need a lot of them to get all the Charmilly forms.
If you're feeling lucky, you can also try getting Mimiqui into a Max Raid battle, though, again, the chances of that happening are pretty slim. Getting your hands on this particular Pokémon will require patience, regardless of the method you use.
