You can be just about anything in BitLife. A doctor who saves lives? Check. Be a famous singer? To that too. You can even try your hand at directing and writing adult films. Most games want you to be the best at something, and BitLife certainly rewards that. But how often does a game reward players with a ribbon for being stupid?
In BitLife, ribbons are earned at the end of each full life. Everything you have accomplished in life is cemented in one word, for example. a ribbon. There is one in particular that can be quite difficult to achieve: the Stupid ribbon.
Being stupid is part genetics, part accidental and part luck. Start with a Bitizen who was born stupid; the lower the better. You don't have to, but it makes it even easier to maintain your ignorance. And it must remain below 10%.
Throughout life, opportunities will present themselves. It's your job to react to these events like any stupid person would. You must be at the level of Leonardo DiCaprio when it comes to the method game. If an animal approaches you and you have the opportunity to pet it, do it! Does a lover ask you to wear a condom? Make it a point not to. When your friend asks you to drop out of the class, accept their offer.
Speaking of class, you're too cool for school. It means giving up when you have the chance. This leaves you with very few opportunities in the employment department, but who needs them? No. Be a couch potato, a waste of space and air. Pick up by selecting the "School" menu. Choose your school and choose "Drop out". Depending on your age, which varies from country to country, your parents can and sometimes will arrest you. Try every year until they give way.
Above all, avoid violence. You are not trying to fight or commit a crime. Chat with people, but don't throw punches. Your crime is to be stupid, not bad. Stealing someone once and getting caught, then dying on the road, is a sure-fire way to bypass the stupid ribbon. The trick is to imagine what a smart person would do and do the exact opposite. When your gravestone is engraved with "stupid" the world will know that you have done them a favor.
