    Some bugs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will run away from you when you get close to them. You want to make sure you capture them, and if they notice you, they'll run away. You can catch them by sneaking around with your net.

    To start sneaking up, take your net out of your inventory and hold it. From there, hold down the A button and your character will lower into a defensive position. Whenever you move them forward while you are in this position, they move forward slowly, paying attention to how they move forward all the time. When you let go of the A button to go wild with your net, so make sure you are close to the bug when you let go of the button. You want to use this mechanic whenever you're trying to catch some of the game's more stubborn bugs.
