It can happen overnight with a negative residual credit, most of the time due to the automatic renewal of an offer to which we are subscribers but without ever having requested it. It also happens with WindTre, which recently aligned itself with the historic decision of AGCOM (the Authority for Communications Guarantees) regarding the blocking of premium subscription services: starting from 21 March 2021, the SIMs of Wind and Tre customers activated before 18 October 2020 will benefit from the blocking of VAS (value-added service) and the automatic deactivation of any active ones (the service is already available on activated SIMs instead from 18 October last year).



But before 21 March there is still a month left, so there is a real risk that in the meantime an unsolicited subscription will be renewed automatically, having as a direct consequence a decrease in the residual credit. It must be said, however, that even after 21 March it is not certain that the problem will not recur, because the measure taken by WindTre on the basis of the provisions of AGCOM does not include other types of services, for which it is possible to still end up with one or more unwanted charges.

The first option to deactivate a WindTre offer is to contact theassistance by phone by dialing the number 159: a recorded voice will answer, indicating precisely the keys to be typed in order to receive support from a telephone operator. When the operator is available, it will be up to the user to provide all the useful information to proceed with the deactivation of the promo, such as the name of the offer, the amount subtracted or the date of the last renewal.

As an alternative to number 159, you can contact free of charge toll free 800 900 134, set up by the company WindTre to respond to complaints about the activation of premium services. With the help of a customer service operator, the procedure for disclaiming the contract object of the report will be started, so as to no longer have to incur any expenses for an unsolicited service. The telephone number 800 900 134 is active five days a week, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00.

Note: the toll-free number 800 900 143 is a service dedicated exclusively to mobile service customers. Users who have subscribed to a WindTre subscription on their landline and wish to receive assistance should instead contact customer service number 159.

How to deactivate a WindTre offer with the WindTre app

To deactivate an unsolicited WindTre promo, you can also use theapp WindTre (formerly myWind), available for free on the Google Play Store at this address. Here are the steps to take:

  4. Tap the button Yes to the suggestion given by the virtual assistant Will to speak to an operator

How to deactivate a WindTre offer in store

And if you are not familiar with the app, or if you want to have a greater guarantee by talking live with an employee, the best solution is to cancel a WindTre promotion directly. in the store by filling in and signing a specific form.

To find the store closest to your home just connect to the official website, scroll down and click on the link Find Store under the section Contacts and App: a new page will open, where you will have to insert it in the field Address the street of your home and press the button Submit to start the search; after a few seconds one or more orange circles will appear on the map, a graphic representation used to indicate two or more WindTre stores.


Important: The map icon can be orange or purple. Orange indicates the presence of a WindTre store, while the purple color is used for a retailer. To deactivate a promotion it is necessary to request technical assistance, and the latter is offered only by shops and not by retailers (the latter are limited to the sale of offers and smartphones).

Note: pressing the map icon displays other detailed information about the shop or resale point, including the street address and landline phone number.

In case of problems

In the unlikely event that there are still problems in deactivating a WindTre offer, there are still two viable options: contact customer service again by dialing the number 159 (the first) or by sending a PEC to the certified e-mail address of the national telephone operator, servizioclienti159@pec.windtre.it.


The customer is required to explain a second time the problem encountered with one or more unsolicited paid services for which he has been charged. It will then be the task of WindTre assistance to find a definitive solution.

Paid services and unwanted subscriptions automatically blocked by WindTre

  • voice directors at a surcharge (899, 892, 178), satellite or international at high cost

Note: no blocking of calls to high-cost satellite and international numbers is available for SIMs activated in the past with the Tre brand.
