It's been a long time since Final Fantasy XIV inspired players to level their free societies. Patch 5.2 introduced Ranks 9-30, which grants additional slots to hold more Company Shares and grants expansion to your Company Vault.
Upgrading an FC can be an incredibly slow process, but there are a few upgrading strategies that will help you grease the wheels.
Running content together
A free enterprise will naturally earn points by running daily roulettes, raiding, or performing extreme trials. The FFXIV community generally agreed that running FATE as a group is a good way to earn points, but this method is incredibly slow and difficult to quantify. It is difficult to collect points this way unless your FC has tens, if not hundreds, of active members.
Manufacture of HQ objects
Producing high level crafts in large quantities really increases points. If there is a well-equipped craftsman in your free enterprise who provides you with raid food and potions, thank you; their massive contributions will help your CF level up quickly.
Procurement and procurement missions
Completing your daily Supply and Supply missions in your Large Company earns you Company Seals, which in turn earns your CF more points. If you haven't hit the max level, these Dailies are a powerful way to level up Artisans and Gatherers. If you are capped, these can provide you with a steady stream of GC gaskets to use to purchase esoteric holdback firms and mats.
Expert deliveries
The third tab in your large business, Expert Delivery, is where the magic happens. Converting into dungeons and crafted green items earns your CF a ton of points. Of course, higher level items give the most Seals, but lower level items may be easier to acquire. The Level 50 Militia Stranglers have been a perennial favorite for top-level CFs, as it only requires two mats which are brought in in large quantities by minions.
Look for items that your CF artisans can produce by the dozen. Equipment from previous patches or expansions is very easy to craft, and since demand is low, you may be able to score some inexpensive crafting rugs by the stack. Craft these high quality items to take advantage of the points earned by crafting HQ items, or save time in bulk.
If your FC isn't itching for more bank tabs, there is no compelling reason to increase your FC beyond Rank 20 just yet. It seems suspicious that the FFXIV developers would add 10 ranks which offer no benefits. We will keep this guide updated if new rewards are added.
