To increase friendship, you can also enter the camp and play or feed your Pokémon. The more you fight, you will also gain in friendship.

To speed up the process, travel to picturesque places on the Isle of Armor with Kubfu. There are four picturesque places.

    • Isle of Armor - Picturesque places:
      • Loop Lagoon: Talk to the trainer just outside Courageous Cavern.
      • Brawlers Cave: An NPC can be found near the entrance to the cave connected to the Soothing Wetlands.
      • Challenge Road: From the Practice Lowlands, go up the stairs to Challenge Road. At the top of two stairs, you will find a Trainer NPC on the left.
      • Potbottom Desert: Right next to the exit of the warm-up tunnel.

After visiting all four locations, return to Master Mustard. Then, you will be able to evolve your Kubfu in two forms.

    • Evolve Kubfu into Urshifu, you will need to complete one of the two Fists.
      • Complete the Water tower evolve into Urshifu (fast typing style), Which one is Combat / Water type.
      • Complete the Tower of darkness evolve into Urshifu (Single Strike Style), Which one is Combat / Dark type.

You can choose a single tower, so choose wisely! There is a trainer opponent at each level of the tower, so you will need to level Kubfu correctly to reach the top. In these towers, only Kubfu can fight.

Complete these rounds and you will get one of the two Urshifu forms! You will need to upgrade it 70 level (!!!) to complete the trials, so be prepared for a lot of grinding.

    • How to get G-Max Urshifu: Urshifu does not eat Max soup! Head to Honeycalm Island to meet a Dynamax Vespiquen. Defeat him to win Max Honey. Now with three bunches of Max mushrooms you can give Urshifu Max soup.

Keep following the story with Hop. He will guide you to fight the Dynamax Vespiquen.
