EVs (Effort Values) are bonuses you earn by fighting Pokémon and progressing. Each of the six stats (Attack, Sp. Attack, Defense, Sp. Defense, HP, and Speed) increases slightly depending on the Pokémon you're fighting with and your level. Normally there are two ways to increase your EV count: grind Pokémon battles or use vitamins.
You can only have a total of 510 EVs - and individual stats can only have a maximum of 252 EVs. You can reduce EV in a specific stat by using arrays. Why lower your EV? So you can reassign those EVs by earning more in another stat as soon as you hit the maximum of 510!

The fastest way to win electric vehicles | Poke Jobs & Pokerus
By sending Pokémon to Poke Jobs, they can earn an insane amount of EVs (effort values) with Special items and the Pokerus virus. If a Pokémon has both, you will win x6 the normal number of electric vehicles when they return from a poke job.
How to grow Fast EVs: The process is extremely simple. Equip a Pokémon with a Live article, infect them with the Pokerus virus, send them to Long Poke Joband they'll come back with an insane amount of EVs. Go for Poke Jobs which specifically result in certain stats. The description will let you know!

Obtaining Power Items is easy. Get the Pokerus virus? It is much more difficult. Let's talk about both.
How to get Power Items: Power Items are special items that you can get Hammerlock. They are available in the southern Pokémon Center and can be purchased from the BP vendor. They cost 10 BP each.

What is Pokerus?: Pokerus is a special contagious virus that allows Pokémon to win electric vehicles faster. You will randomly contract Pokerus, which will spread to adjacent Pokémon on your team.
Pokerus can be cured by visiting the Pokecenter, and once a Pokémon has been cured of Pokerus, it can never contract it again. To avoid this, immediately place any infected Pokémon in your Box. So you can easily transmit the virus later.
Simply swap an infected Pokémon in your party between two other Pokémon and cycle until it spreads. Using healing items won't cure Pokerus, so avoid the Pokecenter! Pokerus only lasts 1-4 days, so it is important that you diffuse the effect, otherwise you could lose it forever.
How to get Pokerus: Pokerus is an extremely rare drop - rarer than a Shiny Pokémon. You can contract Pokerus only by meeting a Pokémon Wild with Pokerus, or by making a trade. One in 1 Wild Pokémon will have the Pokerus virus, so it's all luck. Fighting or capturing a Wild Pokémon with Pokerus is enough to contract the virus.
