How to get Victini
Victini was introduced during the fifth generation of Pokémon and is the very unique type of Psychic / Fire that you don't see too often. The new expansion The Crown Tundra has just been released and with it came all the old Legendaries, although not all the Legendaries were brought back to it right away. However, Victini herself was found in the datamine and is obviously somewhere in the game.
The Legendaries and Ultra Beasts can be found in Dynamax Adventures in the Max Lair, but there is no sign of Victini yet. Some of the Legendaries have been placed in other areas as part of the story, like the Regis and the Legendary Bird Trio, but again, there is no main story element related to it. to Victini. This probably means that some sort of update will come that will involve getting a Victini somehow, but we're not sure.
That doesn't mean you can close the book on getting Victini in Pokemon Sword and Sword and The Crown Tundra just yet, because we have an option. This option is Pokemon Home, although it depends on something very important, having caught a Victini in the past. You can bring in a Victini from your previous games through Pokemon Home, whether that was when it was released for Pokemon Black and White or if you got the last release for Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. Additionally, those who attended Pokemon Go Fest also had the opportunity to grab a Victini, which you can bring through Pokemon Home if you wish.
If you don't have a Victini to bring through Pokemon Home, you'll basically have to wait for it to be added to the game itself in some way. Your only other real choice is to try and get one through trade, but Victini is definitely a hot commodity that won't be easy to get that way.
