How do you solve a legendary clue? (Legendary Clue 4)
After solving Legendary Clue 1, Legendary Clue 2, and Legendary Clue 3 and reporting to Peony, he will eventually leave base camp to go with his daughter Peonia. However, you will now notice a shiny element on the doormat when you leave the building that you can interact with. When you do, you'll end up picking up what's known as the Legendary Clue ?, the question mark actually being part of the item's name.
This legendary clue is much more mysterious, being more similar to the Regis clues in the second. This message for this one says “Un m… ious l… ge h..le who… cts o… rw… ld to ano… r. This phe… m… no was ori… ally… moved by the professor… r M… n. The h… costs to work… s whe… Ult …… sts li… e. They are… st… t are different… nt fr… m le P… em… ne… we… are fam… ar w… e. Part of this can be understood somewhat, but we'll just go ahead and head to the Max Lair to meet Peony and ask her about it first.
During your conversation with Peony, a group of kids will come out of the Max Lair and say that some creatures they aren't sure are even Pokémon that have spawned there. Scientists then postulate that it has to do with the "Ultra Wormhole" which briefly opened in the sky. If you've played Pokemon Sun and Moon, you probably have a pretty good idea of what's going on here.
Unlike the other Legendary Clues, this one is pretty much done at this point. Instead of having a long quest to complete, we're almost done after talking to Peony in the Max Lair. Indeed, this conversation and subsequent events cause Pokemon Sun and Moon's Ultra Beasts to begin appearing in Dynamax Adventures as final bosses alongside other Legendaries. These are from the Ultra Wormhole mentioned above.
