Updating the content is of course free and comes after PUBG Mobile won the Google Play 2019 "Best competitive" et "User choice" rewards, with AppStore "Best games of 2019", making it the second year in a row PUBG Mobile is the winner. This update also comes with a new Tencent Games logo, representing the spirit of 'Spark More', while the hotfix highlight features include the following:

Features of PUBG Mobile Update 0.16.0:

  • RageGear Mode: This new EvoGround mode allows us to split into two factions, as we are assigned to either the shooter or the driver of the vehicle. Each vehicle has a powerful weapon mounted, like Shotgun, Gatling, RPG, Grenade Launcher, M249, and others that shooters fight with. The mode also has two purposes:
  • RageGear TDM: The goal is to destroy the enemy vehicle and earn The points, and the first team to reach the score limit is the winner.
  • RageGear PickUp: Here you have to collect the points crates and the first team to reach a certain number of crates wins. But, if your vehicle is destroyed, you lose all the crates.
  • Paradise The snow: After queuing for Erangel in Classic mode, there will be a chance to enter Snow Paradise, which is Spawn Island covered in snow and ice. There are also The snowboards and The ski lifts to use upon your arrival.
  • Healing mobility: Health kits, adrenaline, and boost items can now be used while moving, but movement speed is significantly reduced. The bandages are also automatically used successively.
  • Charges: New loading screen is added in Team Deathmatch mode, where you can edit and customize starting weapons. Each firearm is unlockable based on Evo's level, along with other mastery accessories.
  • Perspective button: TPP (Third Person Perspective) now allows to toggle FPS (First Person Perspective) mode on and off with a single new button in Arcade, Classic and Training Grounds.
  • New sliding mechanic: The characters slide in Team Deathmatch mode can now be enabled or disabled
  • Firearms sales: Several Classic Mode weapons have gotten slight tweaks for balanced gameplay, including:

Bolt-action rifles: Chest damage increased by 30%

AMW: Gunshot damage is now 120, down from 132

Crossbow: Torso and limb damage increased by 40% and 20% respectively

S12K: Bullets damage is now 22, down from 24

Saw: Bullets damage is now 20, down from 22

S686 / S1897: Bullet damage 24, up from 26 previously

Hunting rifles: Maximum bullet distance is now 150m, up from 1000m

Beak of a duck: Increased spread of vertical and horizontal balls

Content of the Angry Birds collaboration: Angry Birds turned 10 yesterday, and now players can unlock The Cross Objects. Additionally, there is a mini-game at Spawn Island. The Angry Birds Adventure event now offers The rewards.
