  • Added Fostar Haven as a map for Dogfight and Fleet Battles (Solo / Co-Op vs AI and PvP)
  • Added next-gen improvements
    • The game now supports up to 120 FPS and up to 4K on Xbox Series X | S
      • Added option for Xbox Series X gamers | S to prioritize improved visuals or improved performance
    • Improved visual quality and lighting on PS5
    • Added variable frame rate support for TVs and monitors that allow it
  • Fixed an issue where the game could crash when changing loadouts
  • Improved support for player-to-player matchmaking with significantly different load times
    • Players who have not completed loading at the start of the match will now have an extra time window to rejoin the current match rather than timing at the start
  • Adjustment of the brightness of light sources on PC so that they are no longer too bright in some cases
  • Fixed an issue where the Esseles sky color appeared to change when entering / exiting the station
  • Fixed an issue where the menu voiceover accessibility feature could not be read after entering a lobby
  • Fixed an issue where Steam players could not log in if their screen name included certain Unicode characters or emojis
  • Various stability improvements and minor bug fixes.


  • HOTAS support now allows devices with up to 128 buttons (instead of 40 buttons per device)
  • Fixed an issue on the Xbox One where HOTAS commands would be disabled if the controller went to sleep
  • HOTAS devices that do not have X and Y axes, like the Virpil accelerator, are now correctly recognized by the game
  • Fixed an issue on PC where a gamepad could become unresponsive if not paired as the primary controller when other input devices were connected.

Cosmetic personalization

  • Added two new starfighter paint jobs: Typhoon Squadron for the New Republic and Interstellar for the Empire, the latter inspired by classic toys from Kenner Products
  • Added Vandal TIE hunter paint job based on Sabine Wren's iconic 'handwork'
  • Added Powerful Ally X-wing appearance based on Luke Skywalker's submerged X-wing from Dagobah
  • Added Zeltron Pilot Head (Imperial)
  • Added Pantoran Pilot Head (Imperial)
  • Added the Venture set (jacket, pants, gloves) for the New Republic
  • Added the Paladin set (flight suit, gloves, helmet) for the Empire
  • Added the Navigator set (flight suit, gloves, helmet) for the Empire
  • Marauder's gloves will no longer cause player hands to disappear.


  • Fixed an issue that resulted in Starhunters not appearing in the end of turn transition screen.

Fleet battles

  • Decreased morale gain for defending AI attacks from 4 to 3
  • Morale gains and losses are no longer scaled based on the number of players on the team
  • Fixed an issue where match music would continue in end-of-turn screens after the match ended
  • Corvettes and Raiders now spawn on a random side of the battlefield rather than in a fixed pattern
  • Fixed an issue where the Nebulon-B could display the incorrect amount of shield strength it had in its objective UI.


  • Clearer messages for Xbox gamers when trying to join a full party
  • Fixed an issue where the social menu lost its functionality after exiting a PVP match as a spectator
  • Fixed an issue where muting multiple players at once could also incorrectly disable additional players
  • Fixed an issue where laser sounds would not play when observing a match in first person
  • Fixed an issue where UI and menu items could overlap.

Starfighters and components

  • Added four new components:
    • Kit d’extension Boost has been added to X-wing, Y-wing, TIE fighter and TIE bomber
    • Prototype armor-piercing torpedoes have been added to X-wing, Y-wing, TIE fighter and TIE bomber
    • Ionic rockets have been added to X-wing, A-wing, TIE Fighter and TIE Interceptor
    • Anti-material rocket turrets were added to the U-wing and TIE mower
  • Reduced maneuverability (spin rate) by 60% when firing Rotary Cannon and Auto-Aim Rotary Cannon
    • Does not apply during the charge phase before firing
  • Using the Assault Shield component now reduces maneuverability to better balance its role as a capital ship assault tool or starfighter joust tool rather than a general-purpose component.
  • Fixed an issue where the Proton Bomb counter could display incorrectly after use
  • Starfighters using the Overloaded Shield component now start with completely overloaded shields
  • Fixed an issue where ships of the wrong faction could spawn in the hangar
  • Increased audio volume for the player's Tractor Beam
  • Guided Burst Cannon damage reduced to 28% of unguided variant (was 35%)
  • Fixed an issue where the Vanguard paint job for the A-Wing could have an unintentional New Republic sticker appearing on it inside the cockpit
  • Removed incorrectly assigned auto-aim symbol from composite beam icon
  • Different types of torpedoes now have separate names when targeted (Proton vs Ion vs Piercing)
  • Reduced A-wing shield regeneration rate by roughly 1/3
  • Fixed an issue where the unstable motor could not deal damage to nearby targets.


  • Fixed an issue where the player could get a black screen after redeploying from the hangar in Mission 13
  • Fixed an issue where Zerelda's voiceover could start during the loading screen before Mission 1, causing the animation to get out of sync
  • Fixed an issue where the corvette could pass through the station in Mission 6
  • Fixed an issue where the player could not complete the "Destroy Communications Network" objective if they died during the regroup beat with Gunny in Mission 6.


  • Your current skill rating is now displayed as a value instead of a percentage of level progress after playing a Ranked Fleet Battle.
  • UI message for being in low priority match queue is now clearer on how to get out of low priority status: by playing more matches
  • Lobby confiscation UI messages now clearer
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in team member icons not turning green when prepared
  • Fixed an issue where the menu overlay could not appear in the redeploy screen Providing additional UI support for long names so that they display correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the player could be unable to open the menu during a match if the match starts while in a customization menu
  • Fixed an issue where the Missile Lock UI could stay on screen briefly after changing targets
  • Fixed an issue where the text read "Examine Your Squadron" instead of "Examine Enemy Squadron" in Squad Loadout when hovering over "Add Friend"
  • Fixed an issue where the Ship Marker UI could appear during exit cutscenes when playing Fleet Battles vs AI
  • Fixed a typo in the description of the Mythosaur sticker
  • Fixed an issue where the Daily Challenge timer could start counting upwards after reaching 0:00
  • Fixed an issue where holding the button rather than touching it would not open the Scoreboard during the post-match sequence
  • Fixed an issue where Starhunters could be grayed out if the player quickly shuffled with each other.


  • Skyboxes now have increased resolution for high-level VR headsets
  • Added option to allow PC gamers to adjust their VR resolution scale
    • Gamers using high-resolution headsets (such as the Valve Index) should be able to enjoy higher frame rates without the need for the more powerful GPUs.
  • Added an option to allow PC users to use forward rendering, potentially improving their VR performance
  • The game now uses less intensive front shading when using the "Low" lighting quality setting in the graphics options, allowing VR to be used on mid-level PCs and even some level PCs inferior.
  • Fixed an issue where black bars would appear when transitioning out of a PvP match if the player died at the same time.
