    Another major Nitro-Fueled update for Crash Team Racing is coming very soon (October 4, to be more precise) and brings a plethora of new and interesting things. This update is called the Spooky Grand Prix, and as you may have already guessed, it's a Halloween-themed event.

    The Spooky Grand Prix for CTR Nitro-Fueled is almost here

    Beenox and Activision have done their best to create interesting and engaging content, and their goal is clearly to deliver results! The Spooky Grand Prix features a new racing circuit - Nina's Nightmare, in which you'll race around a haunted mansion. During this Grand Prix season, players will be able to free ghosts by breaking certain crates. Then they can hunt these ghosts and capture them.



    Other than that, this update comes with three new unlockable characters - Nina Cortex, Dr. N. Brio, and Komodo Moe. Nina Cortex can be unlocked through Nitro Gauge, while the other two characters, Dr. N. Brio and Komodo Moe, can be unlocked in the Pit Stop. There are also three new carts included in this update. The Skull Rider is the first, and it can be unlocked in the Pit Stop. The other two, Phantom and Nautilus, can be obtained through Nitro Gauge.

    Players will be delighted to know that this update will allow them to obtain the missed characters and items from the inaugural Nitro Tour Grand Prix, which will be available at the pit stop once the Spooky Grand Prix begins.

    Another important thing to note is that the leaderboards are present in this season and all players who place in the top 5% of Nitro or Championship players will receive the competition kart and the decal.

    This update also introduces some very welcome changes. All existing driving styles have been renamed to make them easier to understand. “Beginner” is now called “Turn”, “Intermediate A” has been renamed to “Balanced”, “Intermediate B” has been changed to “Acceleration” and “Advanced” is now “Speed”. The driving style “Drift” has also been added. There are five different styles to choose from. Yes, now you can choose whatever riding style you want no matter what character you're playing with, which is a big change.


    The Spooky Grand Prix is ​​coming tomorrow, 4 Octoberand will last until 3st November.
