Last week, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Since the episodes of The Final Season released on the Switch along with their PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions, Switch gamers have been wondering if they can wait for this new collection on whatever console they choose. The answer is a bit complicated.
The short answer is no. "The launch of The Definitive Series from Telltale has come and gone, and the game is not available on the Switch. Of course, Skybound Games could decide to move the collection to the Switch at some point. At the moment, however, it does not appear to be planned.

Fortunately, that doesn't mean Switch players will be missed in The Walking Dead. Season 1 and The Final Season are currently available on the Switch. Additionally, Season Two and A New Frontier currently have switch ports in the works. These two ports were originally scheduled to launch on September 10 alongside the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC launch of Telltale's Definitive Series. However, these ports have been delayed. A new release date for them has yet to be announced, but rest assured, they're still coming.
One of the new additions included in Telltale's Definitive Series is the ability to use the Black Graphic graphic style used in The Final Season on older seasons where it was not previously available. Instead of Definitive Series arriving at the Switch, the Graphic Black style will still be available for Switch ports from older seasons. When Season Two and A New Frontier Using the Switch, players will be able to toggle the Graphic Black style on or off according to their preference. As these two ports launch, an update will also be coming to Season 1 on the Switch, allowing gamers to use Graphic Black on that one as well.

If you're interested in the other extras that come with the Definitive Series, such as developer comments, character views, or the music player, it looks like these won't be shipping to the Switch anytime soon. There's also no word on The Walking Dead miniseries: Michonne Will Come to the Switch.
