Developers Niantic are bringing an exclusive new set of items to Pokémon Go called Elite Charged and FastTM. They work the same way traditional Charged and Fast TMs players may have acquired in the past. However, these Elite versions offer a lot more flexibility, giving you the ability to make a decision that is much more beneficial for your Pokémon team.
Traditionally, a Charged and FastTM allowed you to teach your Pokémon a new Charged or Fast move, respectively. The changes were random. If you had a Pokemon whose fast movement wasn't the best, it would choose a new random fast movement available to it, which might give you a better Pokemon after using it. This method was a great way to ensure that Trainers could use their strongest Pokémon, but if the Pokémon had the potential to learn a more substantial move, it could be even better.
Elite Charged and FastTM work the same, except you have the option of choosing which move your Pokémon learns. If there is a particular move from either of the options that you know will benefit your Pokémon's overall strength and use in battle tremendously, these EliteTMs will make sure you don't. to leave it to chance. There is no guesswork and you can develop a powerful list. However, at this time, you can only earn them by participating in the first season of the Pokémon Go Battle League, which begins on March 13.
Those who wish to add these items to their team must enter the contest. It's a PvP match against other Pokémon trainers, so be sure to train for the Great, Ultra, and Master leagues.
