Our favorite part of Tennocon every year is seeing something new. Digital Extremes are always happy to tease us with new content coming to the game, share development news and information, and show off everything they've been working on to gamers who are hungry for it. Warframe action.
In the run-up to Tennocon 2020, Digital Extremes teased something called Heart of Deimos, and even gave us a trailer to increase our hype levels.
Since its release, people have craved more information about Heart of Deimos and what it could be, but to be fair, there is very little information available. This is the first time that Digital Extremes has mentioned this name, and no one is sure at this point whether this is a full new update, a series of story missions, or maybe even some 'a change in the game currently established.
In the trailer, we can see a lot of Orokin Hallways, and there are a lot of Infested running around the place. There also appears to be some sort of golden door, and we are told that Deimos' heart is getting louder and louder. We all know the Orokin released the Infested on the Origin System, so could this be something the Orokin had locked down, becoming more powerful until it was released again?
Maybe we'll have a new set of story missions, and Heart of Deimos is kind of a new boss fight? Perhaps the recent Sentient incursion forced the Infested to react in some way, the same way it pushed the Grineer and Corpus?
Right now, we just have no way of knowing, and we'll all tune into Tennocon 2020 on August 1 to find out more about what's to come in the game.
