    There is a lot of mystery surrounding the new Star Wars title, Jedi: Fallen Order. We know a little bit about the main character of this game, Cal Kestis. The project has many notable voice actors and we already have the full list of trophies and achievements that you can get in the game.

    One important question fans are looking to get is when does Jedi: Fallen Order take place compared to the movies? We know this was after the fall of the Republic, which happened at the end of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and before the first Death Star was blown up in Star Wars: A New Hope.



    Jedi: Fallen Order takes place five years after Revenge of the Sith. But where does it fit into the initial trilogy? Revenge of the Sith took place 19 years before A New Hope, Luke and Leia turn 19 during these films. This timeline means that 14 years before A New Hope, Jedi: Fallen Order's protagonist, Cal Kestis, swayed the galaxy and led the fight against the tyrannical Empire.

    To provide a general timeline for the films, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was 32 years before A New Hope. Star Wars: The Clone Wars was 22 years before. The Clone Wars was a mammoth conflict that had pitted half the galaxy against each other for three years and was set up by Emperor Palpatine, ruler of the empire and Sith Lord. At the end of Revenge of the Sith, he initiated Order 66, which spun the Jedi's compatriots, the Clone Troopers, wiping out nearly all of them. Cal is one of the last Jedi to survive and has been in hiding ever since.



    It is not known if Jedi: Fallen Order will feature any jumps in the story at any point. EA and Respawn are keeping the story as tight as possible to ensure that no one escapes before the game launches on November 15, including preventing any form of early access to the game.
