Capital Supremacy Mode

The Planet is going to introduce the latest upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 game mode, Capital Supremacy Mode. Old school fans of the original Battlefront games will recognize this as the original game mode many Star Wars Battlefront fans grew up with. You are going to have two teams competing against each other on a planet, trying to capture control points spread across a vast environment. The first one to win the set number of points, or the most times he wins, wins. however, Battlefront 2 took it a step further by adding the winners of the point capture game to invade the losing side's capital ship and attempt to detonate it.

We take a brief look at the various checkpoints appearing on Felucia. Each has its origins from multiple points of Star Wars lore, spanning movies and TV shows.

Felucia checkpoints

Command Post Village

The people of the planet have done their best not to stray too far from the natural and fungal beauty of the planet. To do this, they have created their villages higher on the ground and one of the mode checkpoints is nearby. Those defending the checkpoint will rely on the heights of the village to adequately protect it, while those attacking it may have to find another path around the defenders.

Sarlacc command post

The Sarlacc was first seen on screen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. But the Sarlacc is not a creature exclusive to Tatooine. We're on Felucia, who originally showed up in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. However, unlike the one on Tatooine, Felucia died. The command point at this position is on a structure overlooking the deceased creature, presumably used to study it during its lifetime.

Firm command post

Fans of the Star Wars: Clone Wars TV show will remember the days when Anakin, Obi-wan, Ashoka, and a group of bounty hunters defended the Felucian villagers from a group of pirates. Now you can explore one of these farms in Battlefront 2, but you don't want to look around too much. The checkpoint at this location is open space, with only a handful of sites to use for coverage.

Command post caves

While the Felucian Caves are a new place to explore, they hint at some grudges that once lived here, which were seen in Star Wars: Force Unleashed. While the dwelling is the hotbed of resentment, there are narrow passages everywhere, meaning players have to rely on close quarters combat. Keeping training tight may not be right for you. But you're going to want to watch the checkpoint with a turret or with a large area-of-effect weapon.

Marsh Command Post

The last command post on Felucia is in the swamp. Initially, there were a lot of open spaces and spaces that a person could move around, much like farms. However, Republic forces used it as a staging area and landed various crates, ships, and equipment all over the place. Many will use these discarded coins for protection as they defend the area.

Felucia release date

Although the map is not yet available, we are almost there. You can expect to try the game on September 25. We'll be getting patch notes for the game early next week, possibly ahead of the patch update. Not only will players receive a new map, Republic Commando and Co-Op units will drop with it.

Strap in, Star Wars, Battlefront 2 is trying to make a comeback. And fans of the game believe it works.
