Does early access to Baldur's Gate 3 offer multiplayer?

We now know that the release date for players to try out the Early Access version of Baldur's Gate 3 will be September 30. It won't be the full game, but it does give players a chance to try out the game before its official release. . Developer Larian Studios will work with the early access community to tweak the system and gameplay to make it the best possible experience. To make it an even more immersive experience, you can play it with a full team of four players via online multiplayer.

These details were shared during the Panel from Hell live stream, where host Geoff Keighley spoke with Larian Studios Creative Director Swen Vincke, Senior Writer Adam Smith and Senior Game Designer from Dungeon and Dragons, Chris Perkins. They sat down to show off some gameplay and revealed a plethora of details. We also saw the third and final part of the Baldur's Gate 3 trailer. We see the Mind Flayers attempting to dodge the red dragons who are chasing them by escaping to Hell.

The Panel from Hell flow also showed us the various choices we can make. For those who have chosen to take care of animals, you can unlock potential encounters with various animals. If you've done a good job playing your cards right, you might end up with a furry companion ready to help, or even a little owl. The possibilities were up to you, and the team at Larian Studios pushed the idea for the game to act as a virtual dungeon master that accommodated your choices, rather than restricting you.

When the Early Access version of Baldur's Gate 3 releases on September 30, be sure to reach out to your friends to see what your first game might look like for the rest of the campaign.
