This game is presented to us by Bedtime Digital Games, an independent developer from Denmark, which started in 2011 as a student production. This group of students was on to something when they were developing a game that caught the attention of the press and with the help of Kickstarter funding they evolved into a real studio in 2013. They are behind titles such that Back to Bed and Chronology: Time changes everything. On the iTunes App Store, Figment: Journey Into the Mind iOS is doing very well with a 4,1 star rating so far. As mentioned, Figment iOS uses this premise to present us with a surreal and eerie world filled with our naturally awkward thoughts, memories and inner voices that never cease. In Figment, the mind that was once still and still is now changed for the worse. New thoughts begin to emerge, which are personified as The nightmarish creatures spreading fear through the mind and controlling it for its dark purposes. We come into play as Grumpy Dusty, a voice of courage… or an ancient courage. We must help Dusty regain his courage and glory of yesteryear and help the spirit face fears.

Representing a new concept developed by an independent studio, this game is adapted to the style that Bedtime Digital Games has already established as theirs. They've immersed themselves in the dream world and the aspect of time as a concept before in their games, and here they're just showing how deeper they've gotten and how it all got more articulate.
