Make a telegram from your mobile online
The first solution you can consider fore per make a telegram from your mobile is to use one of the applications that allow you to access the online services of Poste cittàne via your smartphone.
Costs for sending an online telegram
Before showing you the detailed procedure to create your account (necessary to use the online services of Poste cittàne) and send a telegram using your smartphone, it may be useful to know what the costs of the service are and the times and methods of delivery.
As for online telegrams sent from mobile phones, the price varies according to the words used in the text of the telegram itself.
- Up to 20 words: 3,50 euros;
- Up to 50 words: 5 euros;
- Up to 100 words: 8 euros;
- Up to 200 words: 14 euros;
- Up to 500 words: 30 euros;
- Over 500 words: 30 euros plus the price of the bracket for the number of words exceeding 501.
All the prices shown refer to the sending of a telegram on the national territory. Furthermore, the sender and recipient addresses are not included in the price. It will be useful to know that before completing the payment and sending the telegram, it is possible to view the price to be paid.
Using the Post Office app, you can pay with credit card, Postepay e BancoPosta, while with the PosteMobile app the cost of sending a telegram is deducted from remaining credit of your SIM with a commission of 0,80 euros.
The telegrams sent online are delivered, from Monday to Friday, in hard copy to the address indicated during the sending phase. Delivery times vary depending on the time the telegram is sent and the recipient's address. However, delivery takes place within a maximum of two working days after dispatch.
Via the Post Office app
The app Post office It is available free of charge for Android and iOS devices and allows you to send telegrams even to multiple recipients. It allows you to pay by credit card, Postepay or BancoPosta.
To send a telegram using the Post Office app, start the latter by tapping its icon (the PT written on a yellow background), press the button Choose your post office and press pulsating Allow, to allow the app to access your location and locate the nearest post office. Then press the button Start and, in the new screen displayed, tap on the item Telegram visible nel box Your operations.
On the screen Log in, enter your account details in the fields Username (you can also enter the email address associated with your account) e Password e fai tap sul pulsating Log in. Alternatively, if you have created your SPID credentials with PosteID, select the tab PosteID, inseerisci i tuoi dati nei campi Email address e Password and press pulsating Log in.
If, on the other hand, you have not yet created an account on Poste cittàne, choose the option Subscribe, insertion il tuo telephone number in the ready field and fai tap sul pulsating Continue, then enter your personal data in the fields Your name, Last name e Tax Code and firstly your pulse Continue. In the new screen that appears, check that the data shown in the fields Birthday, Gender, country of birth, Province e Birth place are correct, put the check mark next to the item By confirming you declare to accept the terms of service and press pulsating Confirmation
Finally, create a password to associate with your account by entering it in the fields Password e Confirm password, sui pulsnti award Continue e Confirmation, check that the phone number shown on the screen is correct and tap the button Continue. Within a few moments you will receive an SMS to verify your identity: enter the verification code contained in it in the field Security code and press pulsating Continue, to complete the registration. You are now ready to create and send a telegram with the Post Office app. Then press the button Start, enter the title of the telegram in the field Match name, type the content (maximum 900 words) in the field Enter your text here e fai tap sul pulsating Continues.
It will be useful to know that you can also use ready-to-use telegram templates. To choose the one you are interested in, tap on the icon sheet (top right), make sure the tab is selected at the top models and press pulsating + related to one of the options available between Marriage, Birth, Mourning, Greeting e Degree, to display the list of ready-to-use telegrams.
After identifying the model of your interest, tap on text of the telegram and press the button Continue to proceed with shipping and payment.
On the screen Telegram sender, check that the data shown in the fields Name, Address, Province, City e POSTAL CODE are correct, otherwise click on the option Clear and enter the data of the sender of the telegram. Then put the check mark next to the option Include sender in the telegram text if you want to enter your name in the message text and tap the button Continue.
Now, specify the data of the recipient of the telegram in the fields Name, Address, Province, City e POSTAL CODE and choose whether to save the recipient among your contacts by placing the check mark next to the option Save recipient in the address book. Alternatively, tap on thelittle man located at the top right to select the recipient from the list of your contacts (if you have previously added a name on the Post Office app).
It will be useful to know that it is possible to send the same telegram to multiple recipients (maximum 200 contacts). In this case, after entering the first name, choose the option Add recipient and enter the new shipping data in the appropriate fields.
After entering the data of all recipients of the telegram, press the button Continue to view the amount to be paid, tap on the icon pencil to choose the payment method (credit card, Postepay o bancoposta) and the first button Continue, then check that all the data reported in the section Telegram summary are correct and, if you wish, tap on the item View preview to preview the created telegram.
Finally, tap the button Pay and ship to proceed with the payment and sending the telegram and that's it.
PosteMobile App
If you have activated a PosteMobile SIM and you intend to send a telegram from your mobile phone by paying with your phone credit (with a commission of 0,80 euros), the app Poste Mobile (Android / iOS) is the solution that best suits your needs.
After downloading it from the store of your device, tap on its icon (the PM written on a yellow background) to start it, press the ☰ button located at the top left and choose the option Log in.
On the new screen that appears, enter yours telephone number and yours date of birth in the appropriate fields and tap the button Proceed to receive an SMS containing a temporary password to access PosteMobile. Then enter the access key you just received in the field Password e fai tap sul pulsating Proceed.
Now, check that the credit available on your SIM is sufficient to send the telegram (in this case you may find useful my guides on how to see PosteMobile credit and how to top up PosteMobile) and tap on the option Useful services. Premium, quindi, sulla voce Telegram e scegli una delle opzioni available Write telegram, to create a new telegram, and Predefined telegrams, to use a ready-to-use template.
In the first case, enter the text of the telegram in the ready field and the pulsating prize Continue. If, on the other hand, you have selected the option Predefined telegrams, select the category of your interest (Birth, Marriage, Mourning, Greeting e Degree), choose the telegram you prefer and tap the button Continue.
To send the telegram, enter the sender's details in the fields Last name, Your name ed Email and the recipient data in the fields Last name, Your name, Address, City, POSTAL CODE e Province and tap the buttons Continue e Confirmation to send the telegram. If everything went well, you will receive an SMS notification of the transaction.
Make a telegram from your mobile by telephone
If you do not have a smartphone and you do not have the possibility to download one of the applications that I have indicated above or you prefer to dictate the telegram, you can consider the dictation service of Poste cittàne by phone call.
The service is available exclusively for TIM cell phones (and from landlines) and is active every day from 07.00 to 23.00. The cost varies according to the words used in the telegram text.
- Up to 20 words: 5,50 euros;
- Up to 50 words: 8,50 euros;
- Up to 100 words: 12 euros;
- Up to 200 words: 23 euros;
- Up to 500 words: 46,49 euros;
- Over 500 words: 46,49 euros plus the price of the bracket for the number of words exceeding 501.
Also, you need to know that the call costs 0,84 € plus a supplement of 0,12 € for any additional recipient and payment is made by telephone credit. For landline calls, however, the cost is 0,63 €.
By choosing to send a telegram through the dictation service of Poste cittàne, it is also possible to choose thetelephone anticipation: a service that, in addition to sending the telegram in hard copy, allows you to send a telephone call to the recipient to whom the telegram will be read. The telephone advance has an additional cost of 2,50 € for each recipient.
To proceed with sending a telegram, pick up your phone, dial the number 186 and start the call. Then follow the instructions of the voice guide and press the combination of keys suggested to send a telegram, then wait for the response of a real operator, to whom you can dictate the text of the telegram and provide the recipient's data .
Furthermore, if you intend to take advantage of the telephone advance, expressly request the service in question and provide the operator with the landline or mobile phone number to contact the recipient of the telegram. It will be useful to know that, in the 2 hours following your request, the operator will make 3 attempts to contact the recipient: upon answering the telephone, he will ask the latter for consent to read the telegram and, if so, he will read it.
How to make a telegram from your mobile
