Much of your time will be spent in Marvel's Avengers in the Chimera, the helicarrier that serves as the central outpost for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. As you progress through the game's campaign missions, the once-abandoned base will team up with the activity. Similar to the tower in Destiny, the Chimera will be where the player goes to talk to NPCs for side quests and equipment.
Hank Pym's own base, Ant Hill, will eventually open up as well. Here are the faces of the Chimera and the Anthill that you will familiarize yourself with.
Alisande Morales - SHIELD Faction Coordinator
Image via Square EnixTo keep Marvel's Avengers cool, faction leaders will provide you with daily and weekly missions, as well as daily missions. These missions are rotating challenges (i.e. defeating a certain number of enemies), while the missions will generally take the form of difficult villain sectors.
One of the main factions in the game is SHIELD, the agency associated with the Avengers. Alisande Morales is the liaison with the Avengers, and she will be depending on you to help SHIELD, which is now struggling after A-Day ruined its reputation and allowed AIM to steal their assets. Alisande is on the second floor of the Chimera, overlooking the War Table from above.
Chasity McBryde - Cosmetics Vendor
Image via Square EnixIf you have the coolest cosmetics from Marvel's Avengers, you better show them off to other players. Cosmetics include outfits, emoticons, teardowns, and nameplates. All of these can be earned through specific challenges or through Hero Challenge cards, but SHIELD Agent Chasity McBryde will have a rotating selection of cosmetics for you on the Chimera. These can be purchased through Units, the digital currency earned in the game.
Sidney "Gaffer" Levine - Marchand de faction
Once Sidney "Gaffer" Levine is done being an Avengers fanboy, he will be able to gift you some gear from his region in the Chimera hangar. As you level up in the SHIELD Faction through missions and faction assignments, you will have more access to Gaffer's wares in terms of high level gear and artifacts.
Sarah Garza - Inhuman Alliance Faction Coordinator
As the leader of the Inhuman Alliance faction, Sarah Garza will be very happy to have the help of the Avengers. Sarah plays the same role giving players daily and weekly missions and assignments, and you can find her in Ant Hill after the War Table.
