- Bomb bag: Contains 3 bombs.
- Bomb box: Contains 10 bombs.
- Stacks of ropes: Contains 3 strings.
Healing items
- Cooked turkey: Healing object that gives +1 HP.
- Elixir: Special healing item that heals poison and curse. Cannot be found
- Royal jelly: Powerful healing item that grants +6 HP.
Arms
- Boomerang: Weapon thrown that shoots forward then comes back to you. Found on enemies in the jungle.
- Broken sword: Special sword generated if you
- Camera: A flash camera capable of stunning enemies and summoning some weaker monsters. The flash is bright enough to briefly illuminate dark levels.
- Clone gun: Three-shot pistol that makes a copy of whatever it shoots. Can only be acquired by completing the Star Challenge in the Tidepool.
- Crossbow: A bow that shoots a bolt straight ahead. To shoot again you need to remember the bolt.
- Excalibur: Powerful melee weapon required to defeat Abzu's boss.
- Ray jelly: A pistol that shoots a beam that freezes enemies. A frozen enemy can be easily destroyed.
- Arc de Hou Yi: Special bow required to unlock the Cosmic Ocean when combined with the Arrow of Light.
- Light arrow: Unique arrow that unlocks the Cosmic Ocean when used with the Hou Yi Bow.
- chief: Powerful knife that spawns droplets of blood on defeated enemies. Collecting blood will heal you.
- Sacrificing 2 live animals will earn the Kapala.
- machette: Large melee weapon that can also slice through webs and brambles in the jungle.
- Pickaxe: Pickaxe that can dig through floor tiles for a limited number of times. Breaks after use.
- Metal shield: Heavy shield that blocks attacks and reflects weapons. Can kill enemies by crushing them between the wall and your shield.
- Plasma cannon: Powerful energy pistol that fires explosive shots.
- Scepter: Magical weapon that can unlock the path to the city of gold when combined with the Hedjet. Can only be acquired by defeating Anubis in the Temple of Anubis.
- Shotgun: The standard shotgun. Very powerful with high recoil. All traders are equipped with it. Kill one to get a free shotgun.
- Teleporter: Teleports you when using it. Kills enemies if you teleport to them and instantly kills you if you teleport into a wall.
- Website: Shoots a spider web that can trap enemies and projectiles.
- Wooden shield: Shield that blocks projectiles. Dropped by Tiki Men enemies in the jungle.
Upgrades
- Alien compass: Used to find the Mothership entrance in the Ice Caves (5-1). Can only be acquired by freeing Van Horseling in Volcana, then entering Vlad's Castle.
- Ankh: Powerful upgrade that revives you after a single death. Required to enter the Duat and Abzu secret areas.
- Climbing gloves: Hold on to the walls and hang on. Push towards the wall to grab and hang.
- Compass: Displays the location of the current level output. .
- Parachute: Single-use item. Automatically deploys if you fall from a great height. Slows your fall until you jump from the parachute. .
- Pete: Turn bombs into sticky bombs. They will stick to any surface before exploding.
- Pitcher glove: Thrown objects are shot directly forward at a faster rate, instead of being thrown in an arc. Items thrown at you can also be grabbed if you are not currently holding anything.
- Master key: Special key that unlocks locked doors and chests. Can be used endlessly. Does not unlock the Udjat Eye chest.
- Glasses: Reveals hidden gems and gold. Does not reveal secret level locations like Eye of Udjat.
- Spiked shoes: Deals x3 double damage to enemies when jumping on them, allows you to walk on thorns safely. By walking on the ice, you will not slip.
- Spring shoes: Increases the jump height by two times.
- Eye of Udjat: Special item that reveals gems in the ground and secret entrances to bonus levels of Jungle / Volcana.
Backup Upgrades
- Postcode: Slows down falls when you hold down the jump button. Allows you to avoid damage from long drops or spikes.
- Hoverpack: Gives the player unlimited double hover jump. Jump into the air to activate hover, allowing you to move endlessly left / right.
- jetpack: Gives a limited boost that allows you to fly for a short time.
- Power supply: Makes your weapons more powerful. Adds a fire effect to your whip and the bombs thrown are much bigger.
- Telepack: Gives the player a double teleport jump. Tap a direction in the air to instantly teleport in four directions. If you teleport into a wall you will kill yourself.
- Cape of Vlad: Special cloak that gives you all the powers of the cloak, and a double jump.
Special and Secret Articles
- crown: King's crown used to acquire the Excalibur sword.
- Pot of curse: Special pot that always drops a +5000 gold diamond. Throwing it at an enemy or yourself will curse you with ash. Breaking the pot summons a ghost.
- Idol: Gold head statue that randomly spawns in death traps. Bring it to a store or to the level exit for a golden reward.
- Defense idol: Special variant of Valuable Idol that can only be acquired in Madame Tusk's dice game.
- Eggplant: Transportable special item used to summon the eggplant child and reach eggplant level.
- Eggplant wreath: Special Easter egg wreath obtained at Aubergine level.
- Four Leaf Clover: Collecting gives you +2 minutes on your timer before a ghost arrives and spawns a rainbow where a pot of gold appears.
- Hedjet: Crown that can be used to access the City of Gold in combination with Anubis' scepter.
- Tablet of fate: Unique item required to access the Sunken City. The tablet gives clues to acquire the correct statue of Ushabti in 6-2 / 6-3.
- Real crown:
- Ushabti: Little statues found in 6-2 - collect the correct statue with the clues obtained from the tablet of fate, then crush the correct Ushabti in 6-3 to summon a familiar called Qilin.
