What is the Jailbreak event in Call of Duty Warzone?

Call of Duty changes things up in their Warzone matches by introducing new events to the game. These events are random events during the match and provide a new way to play. One of the events, Jailbreak, gets inmates to play and may disrupt the current ranking of your Warzone match. The new event would encourage players to stay in the match hall, even if they lost.

The Jailbreak Event allows all inmates stuck in the Gulag to get a second chance without having to beat another player in a one-on-one shootout. All Gulag players will reappear in the game and face off against those who continued to survive the war zone.

In addition to these players, anyone who lost their Gulag match or died a second time and attended the Warzone match are now back in the game. This gives players even more reasons to stay in Warzone, even if they're sitting there twirling their thumbs. While this might make sense for those who died in the middle of a Warzone game and are doing well, it may not make sense for those who died early on and immediately lost their Gulag respawn match. These players might be better off going back to the lobby and lining up for another round.

Either way, Jailbreak seems like a fun way to make things a little different in Warzone. Stick around your match after you die to see if a jailbreak occurs. If you survive the game and it happens to you, you might want to look skyward to see how many last minute players are entering the game and causing problems for you and your team.
